If the merchandise you receive is damaged or missing a part, we will make every attempt to help you obtain the necessary replacements as quickly as possible at no extra cost to you.
Inspecting Your Delivery- At the time of delivery and before signing the freight receipt, carefully inspect the packaging and your product for freight damage. We recommend you remove the box to inspect the product. Minor nicks, scratches, scuffs, and abrasions are common for safe and large product deliveries. These do not affect the operation of the product and touch up paint is available through Safe and Vault Store. If any parts are missing, please contact us and we will promptly send you replacement parts.
- If your item has a malfunction due to a manufacturer's defect, we can either replace the defective part, or if necessary, the entire product. We have outstanding relationships with our partner product manufacturers and we stand behind our products. If you have a concern, please contact us and we will make every effort to resolve your issue.
WHAT TO DO IF THE PACKAGING AND/OR PRODUCT IS DAMAGED- Even if the packaging appears only slightly damaged, write "Package Damaged" on the freight receipt when you sign for delivery. This is VERY important in the event that we need to file a freight damage claim.
- If the package is significantly damaged, you may refuse delivery of your product. On the freight receipt write "refused due to damage." The damaged product will be returned to the point of origin. They will determine if the product can be repaired and shipped back to you in new condition. If the product cannot be returned to new condition, a new product will be shipped to you. If you refuse delivery, please contact us right away us so we may track the return and give you additional instructions.
- If more than one product is delivered to you, you need only to refuse the damaged product and accept the other unit(s). Note on the freight bill how many units were accepted as "OK".
- Keep the original shipping box and material. This may be used to investigate the claim and/or used to return the product.
If you sign the freight bill, accepting delivery as undamaged, and later find damaged or missing parts, please contact us immediately and we will send you a replacement part free of charge. Most freight carriers allow up to 48 hours from delivery to file a freight damage claim. After this time has passed, you will then need to file a freight claim with the shipper on your own behalf. Always keep the original shipping material.
If you decide you do not want parts or a replacement unit, the item can be returned under our standard
return policy. If a product arrives damaged, or we made an error, and it cannot be remedied with either a full replacement or replacement parts, we will pay to have the item returned to us.
If your item malfunctions due to a manufacturer's defect, we can either replace the defective part, or if necessary, the entire unit. We stand behind our products and maintain great relationships with the manufacturers who produce them. If you are having an issue, please contact us and we will make every effort to resolve it.
