The AMSEC AMVAULTx6 CFX582820 is a TL-30x6 rated high security safe. These six sided composite safes are made in the United States with the latest testing procedures set forth by Underwriters Laboratories. The superior design and craftsmanship make the AMVAULTx6 resistant to burglary attacks attempted by the most sophisticated equipment utilized today and the vaults contents against intense fires.

The door and body of the AMVAULTx6 are constructed with a 3" defense barrier of inner and outer steel plates enclosing interlocking heavy duty steel barrier, 12,000 PSI high strength concrete and high-density high strength ceramic matrix. The overall thickness in the door is 6" while the body is 3" thick. A reinforced drill resistant door frame protects the door and each individual bolt chamber from severe side attacks. A proprietary inner barrier protects against peeling attacks.

The fire rating on the AMSEC AMVAULTx6 CFX582820 is a two hour, 350 degree factory tested fire rating. Outside temperatures were tested up to 1850 degrees F.

The lock on the CFX582820 is equipped with a standard U.L. listed Group II key changeable dial combination lock. An ESL10XL or an even better ESL20XL are available as upgrades for an extra charge. The locks are protected by a massive drill shattering hard plate and two additional spring-loaded devices. The hinges on this high security safe offer a vertical height adjustment and utilizes an oil impregnated bearing ensuring easy door operation.

There are several optional options available as upgrades on this AMVAULTx6. The three-way bolt option means that the safe can be equipped with a three way active boltwork mechanism engaging the bolts horizontally and vertically into the body of the safe.

Another optional option is the auxiliary key lock. The U.L. listed, high security key lock is available on the AMVAULTx6 safes. The lock comes with 2 keys and an escutcheon plate. An additional spring-loaded relock device protects the lock against punch attacks.

Other available options include a optional glass relocking mechanism. This is incorporated into the AMVAULTx6 along with the high security auxiliary key lock. This is an optional high security tempered glass relock mechanism with a remotely and randomly placed "cross locking" relocking bolt and thermal cords to protect against torch attacks. In the event of an attack by tools, torches, or explosives, the glass will shatter activating the highly sophisticated relock mechanism. Utilizing the glass relock mechanism can offer up to a total of six different relock devices offering the ultimate in high security protection.

Steel thickness information

Fire Endurance:

• Two hour, 350F factory fire rating. Tested at temperatures up to 1850F.

Locking Mechanism:

• Equipped with six to ten massive 1.5" diameter chrome plated solid steel locking bolts. Each bolt moves deep into the body's protected bolt chambers.
• Entire boltwork mechanism is also protected by a spring operated boltwork detent system. Bolts stay in the retracted position when the door is opened and automatically engage when the door is closed.

Three-Way Boltwork Option:
