Lifetime Replacement Warranty:
If your BF safe is exposed to fire and failed to protect the contents, your BF safe will be replaced free of charge. Just return the safe freight prepaid to the factory accompanied with the fire report. Contact your dealer for further details.
* Intumescent Door Seal:
The root word, intumes, means to react by expansion. When the intumescent seal is exposed to high temperature (above 250oF), it expands to as much as 8 times it’s original thickness. In this expanded or reactive state, it has very high thermal insulating capacity and resistance to breakdown. This provides a strong positive seal between the door and body, preventing heat influx.
There is an old adage in the security business "always buy a bigger size than you need, because it is more economical to grow into a safe than out of". So, the AMSEC BF3416 Dual Rated Safe is the largest safe of it kind and still fits into a closet.
The AMSEC U.L. Listed Safe Model BF3416 Fire Rating 1/2 Hour (UL) RSC-Rated Burglary Safe has all of the features below plus has better than 5 cubic feet of space (5.19 cu. ft. actually) and can still fit into a closet. The 23 1/4" outside depth work in most closets today.
The AMSEC BF3416 Dual Rated Safe along with the other sizes in the series is the standard in the industry. The door has an overall thickness of 3 1/2" with a solid 1/2" thick steel plate included. Impressive Huh? We thought so. Along with the 1/2" steel plate we have included three (3) very large 1" diameter bolts and a full length dead bar that fit deep into the interior to protect the contents from forcible entry. The body with 1/8" steel shell and overall thickness of a bit more than 2.5 inches helps provide the U.L. Class 350 Half Hour Fire Label. Your assurance the contents of your safe are protected from fire.
To insure this Large Dual Rated AMSEC Safe is protected from fire, we use a special door seal that expands when heated. This process greatly reduces the chances of your contents burning up during a long and intense fire. To put our money where our mouth is we have a LIFETIME Fire Replacement Warranty on all AMSEC BF Series safes.
Oh.... and let's not forget that this Dual Rated AMSEC BF3416 comes with a U.L. RSC burglary label. To assure the burglary protection we have also included a U.L. Group II combination lock with a special auxiliary relock devise. There is also heavy duty steel hinges that promise decades of use. We have also included a recessed anchor bolt hole and mounting hardware, that when used, will add greatly to the theft protection of the safe.
The Large Dual Rated AMSEC Safe Model BF 3416 comes with a combination lock and there are numerous optional locks available. The safe painted with a granite finish also includes a chrome dial and ring with a matching handle. We also have an attractive interior with a velour a covered shelf and velour back plate on the door.
