The Gardall 1-hour microwave fire safe MS912-G-K is the largest version of our popular microwave safes and the reason they are called microwave safes. (Doesn't the picture look like a microwave oven?) The interior size of the safe accommodates standard letter size paper and is ideal for the homeowner wanting to store a few important documents in a small safe that provides the necessary fire protection and peace of mind.

This larger version of our microwave safes has many features for an inexpensive safe. The safe also has features like plated interlocking bolts that extend into the safe walls to prevent tampering and removal of the doors. The doors are precision built of extra heavy steel, full 180 degrees swing pivoting on heavy-duty hinges with interlocking, tongue and groove closure on all sides of the door frame (this helps greatly in a fire).

Other features on our 1-hour fire-rated home safe with combination lock include a lifetime fire exposure replacement guarantee. Be sure to ask our customer service department for further details. The safe also has a powder-coated finish for long-lasting durability.

The Gardall MS912-G-K One Hour Microwave Fire Safe comes standard with a proprietary key lock to secure the door. The safe also comes with a slide-out tray.

Can you deliver it inside my house and bolt it down?

We don't provide inside delivery directly, but we work with third-party installers across the country who do. Here's how it works: call us at 800-207-2259 for a recommendation in your area, and we'll provide the names and phone numbers of installers we've worked with. You contact the installer directly to arrange pricing for delivery and installation. Once you've agreed on a price, place your order with us using the installer's address as the shipping destination. Will this fit through my doorway?

Check the product's exterior dimensions (listed above) against your narrowest passage, interior doorways, stair landings, and tight turns. Most people remove the safe from the pallet before moving it indoors, so the safe's actual dimensions are what matter for doorways. Can I change the combination myself?

Electronic locks: yes; it takes about 30 seconds. Instructions are included with your safe. Mechanical dial locks: no, changing a dial combination requires a licensed safe technician. Important: attempting to change a dial combination yourself (or having an unlicensed locksmith do it) voids the lock warranty. A licensed safe tech maintains the warranty. What if it arrives damaged?

Call us immediately — while you have 24 hours to report damage, calling right away gets the claim filed faster. Take photos of the damage and packaging before moving anything. For minor cosmetic damage, we typically send touch-up paint plus a partial refund. For significant damage, we send replacement parts or arrange a full replacement.
