The Honeywell Waterproof Fire Safe is truly unique. This is the first safe that has been tested for "waterproofing" and U.L. listed for a 1-Hour Fire Rating combined. The Honeywell Waterproof Fire Safe uses a unique method of fire protection. Instead of creating a "steam moisture cloud" inside of the safe to maintain a temperature below 350 degrees, this safe slowly burns off the outside protective fire material. This is a new technology in safe fire protection.
