Browning SP20 Core Collection Sporter Gun Safe - 2019 Model

If you have a vast gun collection, you're probably in the market for a safe and affordable way to secure and store them. Browning has been creating top of the line gun safes for generations of responsible gun owners. The Sporter Series is one of their best-selling models, offering five sizes including the SP20.

The Sporter SP20 is often referred to as The Closet Gun Safe because its dimensions make it perfectly suited for standard home closets. But with a height of 58 inches and width of 24 inches, it also blends in nicely with any home decor.

The SP20 weighs in at a sturdy 410 pounds, making it difficult to move or easily knock over. We highly recommend that you bolt this safe down to a solid surface to prevent anyone from removing it from your home or tipping it over.

On the outside, the Sporter is forged with a 12 gauge steel body, including a 1 inch formed door with partial inner plate. It comes in sleek Hammer Gray as a standard finish.

On the inside, the SP20 offers 7.90 cubic feet of space, enough room for up to 20 (10/20) long guns. The door back includes the specialized Browning DPX storage system on the top half. The DPX helps maximize storage space, allowing for easy access to handguns and shooting gear.

The safe comes with 4 cantilevered modular shelves to add interior space, and a quick access rack for storing a variety of valuables. The soft beige carpet also gives the interior an elegant look.

Two key factors for any safe are the ability to withstand breach and the ability to withstand fire. The Browning Sporter SP20 is equipped to handle both.

Sporter SP20 anti-pry features include the Force Deflector Locking System which prevents forced attacks on the door. The safe also features 1 inch chrome locking bolts, three sided door coverage, and a fully reinforced integrated door frame.

When it comes to fire protection and safety, few safes can match the integrity of a Browning. Browning safes feature the exclusive ThermaBlock protection with thicker insulation arranged in an interlocking design that minimizes gaps which would allow the internal temperature in the safe to rise during a fire. The external hinges offer as much as three times better fire protection than a safe with internal hinges. Our continuous welds over every seam provide added resistance to heat-related flex. Tests show that Sporter Series safes can withstand fires up to 1400 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour.

Why settle for an ordinary gun cabinet when you can have the safety and security of a Browning Sporter SP20 at an affordable price.

Delivery Options

Please read all information on the type of delivery options you have for your order.  The delivery of large safes is a very sensitive operation, and we supply this information to ensure you receive the product you ordered in the best condition possible for your delivery circumstance.

Types of Delivery Services (click the links below to skip to each section):

Small Package Delivery (150 lbs. and Under)

Small package delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. All packages less than 150 pounds are delivered to your home or business front door via UPS or FedEX during normal business hours. There is no advance appointment call made.

Curbside Delivery (Over 150 lbs.)

Curbside delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. Any shipments 151 pounds or larger are delivered via freight companies such as YRC, XPO, USF Reddaway or other common freight carriers and delivered curbside. The safes and vault doors are delivered on a wood pallet, curbside, where your driveway meets the street.

  • Remote areas require additional fees from the freight company. Please call 800-207-2259 to confirm your area is not remote or obtain a custom quote.
  • “Limited access” locations will require addition fees from the Freight Company. Please call 800-207-2259 for a quote.
  • Some zip codes, including ferry points are considered beyond service points from the servicing center and may result in additional charges. Please call us at 800-207-2259 if you are unsure if you will be in a service area for a custom quote.

  3. The freight company will schedule a delivery appointment with you for the day of delivery only. NOTE: They will not give a time window and delivery times are not guaranteed.
  4. Freight companies will deliver between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday only.  Because Mondays are heavy commercial delivery days, some terminals will avoid scheduling residential deliveries on Mondays.
  5. You must be present or have someone there to inspect and sign for the product. There are no exceptions to this requirement.
  6. If there is even the slightest damage on the packaging, note the damage on the receipt you receive and sign from the delivery staff. IMPORTANT NOTE: This is the only way we can file a damage claim for a refund from the freight company and/or a replacement if your safe or vault door is damaged.

Garage delivery is not guaranteed. It is not always available in all areas and is ultimately at the discretion of the driver to complete. Safes Over 2000 lbs.

Our trucks with liftgates will only handle safes up to 2000 pounds. Safes over 2000 pounds will require a forklift or loading dock on site to receive the safe. If you do not have either of these items, we can recommend a company in your local area who can deliver your safe inside.
