The Kodiak KSB5940EX-SO Gun Safe - 38 Gun Capacity is made by Rhino Safe Company. It features fire protection, great security features, a deluxe door organizer, UL Listed Electronic Lock, and Convertible Interior all at a great price.

Each Kodiak KSB5940EX-SO Gun Safe has a full 60 minutes of fire protection, tested at outside temperatures up to 1400 degrees F. There are 3 layers of 3/8" fireboard protection in the ceiling, and 2 layers on walls, floor and door of the gun safe. A heat activated door seal expands up to 7 times its size which seals the door edge to help keep out heat and smoke. All of these things together are designed to protect your rifles, handguns, valuables, paperwork and more from a fire.

Another benefit of the Kodiak KSB5940EX-SO Gun Safe is the 12 gauge steel construction in the body and the door. Three hardened plates protect the lock from drill attacks. Plus, a spring loaded re-locker will help keep the safe secure if the lock is tampered with or removed. There are 1.25" diameter doorbolts for a total of 11 that help prevent pry attacks to the door. This is 4-sided protection meaning there are bolts on all 4 sides of the door.

The patented F-15 locking system on the Kodiak by Rhino KSB5940EX-SO Gun Safe features an internal anti-tamper clutch that helps prevent someone from torquing the safe open via the handle. A UL Listed Digital Lock is standard that allows you to program your own combination. All of these security features combined to give it a CA DOJ Firearm Safety Rating. In addition, it also has a UL RSC (Residential Security Container) burglar rating.

A factory installed USB equipped electrical outlet is standard inside. A 3-spoke vault style handle allows for ease of opening and closing the door.

Small Package Delivery (150 lbs. and Under)

Small package delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. All packages less than 150 pounds are delivered to your home or business front door via UPS or FedEx during normal business hours. There is no advance appointment call made. No signature is required.

Curbside Delivery (Over 150 lbs.)

Curbside delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. Any shipments 151 pounds or larger are delivered via freight companies such as YRC, XPO, USF Reddaway, or other common freight carriers and delivered curbside. The safes and vault doors are delivered on a wood pallet, curbside, where your driveway meets the street. The freight company will call to schedule an appointment within an 8-hour window. Freight companies will not deliver to a "dead end" street or Cul De Sac. Please see our Fedex Freight Direct Basic for additional options.

Depending on the indicated lead time on your order, you will receive an email notifying you that your item has shipped with your tracking number.
After your item has shipped and it arrives at your local terminal, you will receive a telephone call from the freight company to schedule the delivery date.
The freight company will schedule a delivery appointment with you for the day of delivery only.
Freight companies will deliver between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday only. Because Mondays are heavy commercial delivery days, some terminals will avoid scheduling residential deliveries on Mondays. If you require a shorter time window, please see our Fedex Freight Direct Basic delivery options (2-hour window available).
You must be present or have someone there to inspect and sign for the product. There are no exceptions to this requirement.
If there is even the slightest damage on the packaging, note the damage on the receipt you receive and sign from the delivery staff. IMPORTANT NOTE: This is the only way we can file a damage claim for a refund from the freight company and/or a replacement if your safe or vault door is damaged.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The delivery staff will not take your safe or vault door any further than curbside if this is the service you order. Freight companies will not deliver to your driveway on a Dead End road or Cul de Sac. They will only deliver to County, City, or State roads. They will not deliver to a congested downtown area with no parking or a Doorman Condo or Apartment. Garage/Threshold Delivery or White Glove Inside Delivery are available for an extra charge if you need special delivery services. Garage Delivery Requirements:

Please read these requirements before placing your order:

Access to an ‘overhead’ garage door is required and must be over pavement or concrete, no more than a 2% grade.
Excessively steep or long driveways are not included in this service, see Inside Delivery delivery options if this is your case.
Drivers will not back the truck onto your driveway.
The driver may require help to push the product into your garage.
The driver will not remove the safe from the pallet.

Garage delivery is not guaranteed. It is not always available in all areas and is ultimately at the discretion of the driver to complete. If the driver feels it is unsafe, the freight company will not be able to complete the garage delivery and will leave the safe at your curbside. We would refund you in full for the garage delivery if it is not able to be completed. Safes Over 2000 lbs.

Our trucks with liftgates will only handle safes up to 2000 pounds. Safes over 2000 pounds will require a forklift or loading dock on site to receive the safe. If you do not have either of these items, we can recommend a company in your local area that can deliver your safe inside.

For those businesses that require an inside delivery service, we offer this up to 600 pounds.

Deliver inside your business.
Includes a two-person delivery and /or placement in room of choice.
Delivery ground floor only - no stairs.
Option of packaging removal.
Proactive notifications with 2 person delivery and 4-8 hour delivery window.
Business Inside Delivery does NOT include anchoring of your product or lifting a safe high onto a pedestal/platform.
Includes bringing the safe in an elevator. The elevator must be rated to handle the weight of the safe plus delivery team.
