Vaultek has released the Lifepod 2.0 which builds on the great features of the original Lifepod and gives you extra room inside to store a full-size handgun up to 9.25". Other great features include a removable interior tray for stackable storage, and a convenient interior LED light so you can see your items in the dark.

Vaultek has designed special proprietary material for the LifePod 2.0. This material is lightweight but was engineered for superior strength for the best in security protection. The dual side compression latches are combined with an interior rubber gasket that seals off the interior from environmental factors including water and dust. The LifePod 2.0 is water-resistant and is submersible in 3 feet of water for up to 30 minutes, airtight, dustproof, and will float.

Vaultek's LifePod 2.0 is powered by a standard 9V alkaline battery which is not included with the safe. It will last up to one year under normal use. If you just want to use this safe as a weather-resistant case, it does not require a battery. It is only required to enable the built-in lock system. The front rubber keyhole cover disguises a hidden micro-USB port to power the unit in case of a dead battery.

The built-in lock system of the Vaultek Lifepod 2.0 incorporates precision engineered safe technology and an anti-impact latch design. The Lifepod 2.0 can be locked and unlocked using the touch sensitive LED keypad and the front manual keyway can be disabled to prevent lock picking.
