The lock also has an optional sound on/off mode so that it doesn't make a sound when entering the safe in an emergency situation. 

Barska had the AX13496 Biometric Fireproof Safe tested for a 30 minute fire rating with an outside temperature up to 1,200 degrees F. The door has two solid steel long locking bar bolts to prevent pry attacks. Inside are convenient key hooks and a net pocket for help with the organization of items you need to access quickly. The outside is painted with a smooth white finish. We suggest using the pre-drilled mounting holes along with the included mounting kit to bolt this safe to a solid surface so that someone doesn't remove it to break into it when they have time. Barska includes a 1-year warranty with each safe purchase.
