The Browning SP23 Sporter 23-Gun Safe is the entry point into Browning's Core Collection Sporter series. It brings serious protection at a real value price ($1,569) in a smaller footprint than the SP33 and SP49 above it in the line, without cutting corners on the fire rating, the steel gauge, or the interior organization system that Browning is known for. Build and Security

The SP23 is built on the same construction platform as the rest of the Browning Sporter line. That means a 12-gauge (7/64 inch) steel body and a 1-inch formed steel door reinforced with a partial inner plate and a U-shaped steel frame. This is honest gun-safe construction at a mid-tier price, and Browning doesn't skimp on any of it just because it's the entry model in the series.

Where the SP23 really earns its keep is in the layered pry-resistance:

• Force Deflector Locking System with a rotating cam device that redirects pry-attack energy away from the lock rather than letting it transfer into the mechanism.
• Pry-Stop End Bolts anchored to a high-strength steel angle so the locking-bolt support bar can't be bent inward under attack.
