NEW for 2015, the Hayman MVEX-2116 MagnaVault has been redesigned and loaded with some great features. It offers the perfect protection for both residential and commercial applications where valuables need to be protected from both burglary and fire. This MagnaVault series safe features a 105 minute fire rating, tested at outside temperatures of 1275 degrees F for 105 minutes. The inside temperature never exceeded 350 degrees F. There is also an intumescent door seal that swells at high temperatures to seal the door from fire and smoke.
Along with the fire protection comes superior burglar protection as well. The body is a six sided 2" thick composite construction. Each locking bolt is 1-1/8" in diameter, offering protection against pry attacks. Up to five - 1/4" hardplates are mounted at angles inside the door and body to provide maximum drill attack prevention. Relocking devices connected to a glass plate will protect the safe from attacks on the lock. A reinforced solid continuous dead bolt locks on the hinge side of the door, ensuring security even if the hinges are cut off. There is one hole in the center of the safe to bolt it down for additional security.
The lock on the MVEX-2116 is a SecuRAM Digital Electronic Lock with a TopLit keypad as a standard feature. A UL Listed Group 2 dial combination lock can be installed for an additional charge.
Along with superior fire and burglary protection, the Hayman MVEV-2116 looks great in any space. The paint is a textured gray, black and white finish that looks sharp and will fit in any decor. The shelf is made of tempered glass. You won't find many safes on the market that look as good as this one.
