This TL-30 high security burglary and fire safe, with its 6.9 cubic feet of interior space, incorporates six-sided composite construction. What is composite construction? This new and revolutionary new barrier material incorporates a steel and ceramic matrix on all six sides of the safe. The ceramic matrix is anchored by a "Z" bar connection system that makes the inner and outer layers of steel, as well as the composite material as one. By using this unique construction, the safe achieves a high degree of burglary protection while being relatively light in weight.
This U.L. rated TL-30 burglary safe with built-in fire protection also has a two hour 1850 degree fire rating as well. To further explain, this unit is subjected to a 1850 degree fire for a period of two hours. The interior temperature did not exceed 350 degrees, well below the combustion point of paper.
To further enhance the theft resistance of the safe, we have included massive 1 1/2" chrome bolts secured with a U.L. Group 2M combination lock. For a slight up-charge we can add an electronic lock to your safe. The safe also incorporates "dead" bolts on the hinge side to deter prying of the door. We have also added a re-locking system so that if the lock is drilled or forced, the bolts automatically freeze in the locked position. The bolt-work on the TL-30 high security burglary and fire safe is further protected by bolt detent system that automatically extends the bolts when the door is closed.
