NEW for 2015, the Hayman MagnaVault series, MVEX-2916 was redesigned with some great features. It offers superior fire and burglary protection for home or business applications. The fire protection is a fire insurance laboratory, tested for 105 minutes at 1275 degrees F. The internal temperature never exceeded 350 degrees F. Additional fire protection includes an intumescent door seal that swells at high temperatures to seal the door from fire and smoke.
Burglar protection on the MVEX-2916 is second to none. This safe comes standard with a UL listed RSC burglar rating. Features include six sided 2" thick composite construction in the body and up to five 1/4" hardplates mounted at angles inside the door to provide maximum drill attack prevention. Relocking devices connected to a glass plate will protect the safe from attacks on the lock. A reinforced solid continuous dead bolt locks on the hinge side of the door ensuring security even if the hinges are cut off. There is one anchor hole in the center of the safe to bolt to a solid surface (it is highly recommended that you bolt your safe down to prevent removal from your premises).
The lock that comes standard on the MVEX-2915 is a Securam Digital Lock with a TopLit keypad.
The look and feel of the Hayman MVEX-2916 are just as good as the burglar and fire protection. The outside is painted a textured gray, black, and white finish that will last a lifetime. The (2) standard adjustable shelves are made of tempered glass.
