The AMSEC Model BLC 3024 "C" Rate Security Chest is designed to provide secure storage at an economical price. In addition to meeting the requirements of The Insurance Offices Manual of Burglary Insurance, these units offer an appearance and many features similar to AMSEC's higher rated TL-15 models. Without the cost of course!
This AMSEC Special "C" Rate Security Chest with shelves is constructed of 1/2" ("C" Rate) solid steel body that includes a reinforcing frame that gives the appearance of 1" thick walls to discourage attack. (most physical attacks are on the door).
The specially designed steel recessed door is a solid 1" ("C" Rate) thick. It is protected by a U.L. listed Group II key changeable lock, with an internal relock and 1 million possible combinations. There is an additional external spring loaded relocking device, activated by a punching attack. The locks and relockers are protected by a large carburized hardplate.
The AMSEC Model BLC 3024 "C" Rate Security Chest has a handle that activates a locking mechanism consisting of three 1" chromed steel locking bolts. There is also a solid steel full length dead bar prevents door removal if hinges are removed during a forced entry attempt.
The AMSEC Special "C" Rate Security Chest with shelves comes with a standard gray textured paint but special colors are available. Special sizes and custom features are also available. There is also a left swing option for that special application. Three (3) adjustable shelves are standard on this model.
