The Tracker Safe Model M45 has excellent space for up to 47 long guns. There are 45 long gun slots in the safe and another 2 in the organizer door.

The interior can be configured in many ways to accommodate your needs. The M45 has two large upper shelves and six smaller shelves that can be adjusted for placement or height.

The door's interior is an organizer that can store your knives, pistols, ammo, and other items. Gray carpeting in the interior cushions and protects your guns.

Security begins with the black powder-coated finish exterior that sports a chrome tri-spoke handle and chrome plated hinge caps. The 5-inch thick steel door comprises 11 gauge steel (3 mm). It has 16 x 1.25-inch diameter steel locking bolts that offer full door coverage, with two up, two down, seven on the non-hinged side, and five dead on the hinge side.

A re-locker pin assists with protection against lock tampering, and there is a hard plate that protects the lock from drill attacks. The external hinges allow the door to open a full 200 degrees.

The welded-body, 1000-pound M45 gun safe is made from heavy 11 gauge steel (3 mm). It has four pre-drilled holes so that you can anchor it to flooring. The best choice for the flooring to anchor your safe is concrete, so concrete mounting hardware is included.

For locking your safe, you can choose one of two commercial-grade locks. The chrome LaGard Group 2 mechanical dial lock is EMP-proof. Your other choice is the Securam Basic Digital Electronic Lock.

Fire is always a concern for homeowners, and the M45 gun safe protects the guns and other items stored in it for up to 60 minutes at 1250 degrees Fahrenheit. It has a heat-activated seal that expands five times its thickness to protect the contents beyond the door.

Two layers of fireboard insulation protect the gun safe's body, including its walls, flooring, and ceiling. Three layers of fireboard insulation protect the door. Full fireboard protection includes the external hinges. Tracker Safes offers a Full Lifetime Warranty against fire, burglary, and attempted burglary.

The exterior dimensions of the M45: H: 72 inches x W: 42 inches x D: 27 inches (which increases to 28.5 when you include the handle and hinges).

Interior dimensions: HL 68.5 inches x W: 39.5 inches x D: 21 inches. The exterior volume is 47.25 cubic feet, and the internal volume is 22.8 cubic feet.

Once shipped, transit time typically runs 5–10 business days, depending on your location. You'll receive tracking when the safe leaves the warehouse. Safes under 150 lbs ship via UPS or FedEx Ground, no appointment needed. Safes weighing 150 lbs or more ship via freight (LTL); the freight carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment once the safe reaches your local terminal.

Can you deliver it inside my house and bolt it down?

We don't provide inside delivery directly, but we work with third-party installers across the country who do. Here's how it works: call us at 800-207-2259 for a recommendation in your area, and we'll provide the names and phone numbers of installers we've worked with. You contact the installer directly to arrange pricing for delivery and installation. Once you've agreed on a price, place your order with us using the installer's address as the shipping destination. Will this fit through my doorway?

Check the product's exterior dimensions (listed above) against your narrowest passage, interior doorways, stair landings, and tight turns. Most people remove the safe from the pallet before moving it indoors, so the safe's actual dimensions are what matter for doorways. Can I change the combination myself?

Electronic locks: yes; it takes about 30 seconds. Instructions are included with your safe. Mechanical dial locks: no, changing a dial combination requires a licensed safe technician. Important: attempting to change a dial combination yourself (or having an unlicensed locksmith do it) voids the lock warranty. A licensed safe tech maintains the warranty. What if it arrives damaged?

Call us immediately — while you have 24 hours to report damage, calling right away gets the claim filed faster. Take photos of the damage and packaging before moving anything. For minor cosmetic damage, we typically send touch-up paint plus a partial refund. For significant damage, we send replacement parts or arrange a full replacement. Small Package Delivery (150 lbs. and Under)

Small package delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. All packages under 150 pounds are delivered to your home or business front door via UPS or FedEx during normal business hours. There is no advance appointment call made. No signature is required.

Changing Your Address

Additional fees may apply if you need to change your address after your order has shipped. Please note that changing the address with FedEx is not guaranteed. You can create a FedEx Delivery Manager account, which allows you to change the shipping method to a FedEx Hold Location (ex: local Walgreens).

Curbside Delivery (Over 150 lbs.)

Curbside delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. Any shipments 151 pounds or larger shipments are delivered curbside via freight companies such as YRC, XPO, USF Reddaway, or other common freight carriers. The safes and vault doors are delivered on a wood pallet, curbside, where your driveway meets the street. The freight company will call to schedule an appointment within an 8-hour window. Freight companies will not deliver to a "dead end" street or Cul De Sac. Please see our Fedex Freight Direct Basic for additional options.

You must be present or have someone inspect and sign for the product. There are no exceptions to this requirement.
If the packaging is damaged even slightly, note the damage on the receipt you receive and sign from the delivery staff. IMPORTANT NOTE: This is the only way to file a damage claim for a refund from the freight company and/or a replacement if your safe or vault door is damaged.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The delivery staff will not take your safe or vault door any further than curbside if this is the service you order. Freight companies will not deliver to your driveway on a dead-end road or Cul de Sac. They will only deliver to County, City, or State roads. They will not deliver to a congested downtown area without parking or a Doorman Condo or Apartment. Garage/Threshold Delivery or White Glove Inside Delivery are available for an extra charge if you need special delivery services. Garage Delivery Requirements:

Please read these requirements before placing your order:

Access to an ‘overhead’ garage door is required and must be over pavement or concrete, no more than a 2% grade.
Excessively steep or long driveways are not included in this service; if this is your case, see Inside Delivery delivery options.
Drivers will not back the truck onto your driveway.
The driver may require help to push the product into your garage.
The driver will not remove the safe from the pallet.

Garage delivery is not guaranteed. It is not always available in all areas and is ultimately at the driver's discretion to complete. If the driver feels unsafe, the freight company will not be able to complete the garage delivery and will leave the safe at your curbside. We will refund you in full for the garage delivery if it cannot be completed. Our trucks with liftgates can only handle safes up to 2000 pounds. Safes over 2000 pounds require a forklift or loading dock on site to receive them. If you do not have either of these items, we can recommend a company in your local area that can deliver your safe inside.
