The door has an overall thickness of 4.875" and is made of 12 gauge steel. The body is also made of 12 gauge steel. The lock is protected by a re-locker and a drill-resistant hard plate. This protects against lock tampering and drill attacks. The hinges on this gun safe allow you to open the door a full 200 degrees, unlike most gun safes that feature internal hinges.

We recommend using the pre-drilled anchor holes to mount to a solid surface even though this safe weighs 830 pounds. It comes standard with concrete anchors to bolt to a concrete floor. If you are bolting to a wood floor, we recommend you purchase some lag bolts and anchor them into the floor joist.

There are two types of locks offered on the large Tracker TS45 gun & rifle safe. First is the standard Lagard Group 2 mechanical dial combination lock, which is EMP proof and does not take any batteries. For an upgrade, you can purchase a Securam Type 1 UL Listed digital electronic lock which is made in the USA. Both locks are rated the same for security protection. A Securam Biometric lock is also available as an upgrade for quick access. 

The fire rating on the Tracker Safe TS45 is 30 minutes, perfect for those who live in the city and are close to the fire department station. It was tested at temperatures up to 1200 degrees F. A heat-activated door seal expands up to 5 times its thickness. The external door hinges allow full fireboard protection, unlike internal hinges.

This gun safe will hold up to 45 long guns without scopes. Rifles will take up an extra slot with scopes. The interior is a carpeted gray and has adjustable shelving heights/placements. The two large upper shelves will allow for the storage of papers, documents, valuables, and other personal items. The four small shelves on the side can be adjusted or removed depending on the configuration you want. The exterior is painted a gray textured powder-coated paint that will last a lifetime.

• Securam Basic Biometric Lock - Tracker Gun Safes can now upgrade to a Securam ScanLogic Basic Biometric Digital Lock for an additional cost. The fingerprint reader is simple to use. Just place your enrolled finger on the sensor and turn the safe handle. That's all there is to it. You can also use a six-digit code. This biometric lock supports up to 3 user codes and five associated fingerprints per code for a total of 15 fingerprints.
