If it's a lot of space you need with a shallow depth for ease of access the AMSEC Floor Safe Model B3700 B-Rated Burglary Safe is there. With just over 2.1 cubic feet of space, this safes 14" interior depth is great for easy access. And if this Larger Model In-Floor Safe is properly installed in a concrete floor, it provides excellent burglary protection. In fact, the Super Brute Larger Model In-Floor Safe with its 3/4" thick steel door meets and exceeds the requirement of the Insurance Offices Manual of Burglary Insurance.
The AMSEC Model B3700 In-Floor Safe, with its unusual configuration of 23" wide internal size, still has a clear door opening of 10-3/4" x 11-1/8" and an internal depth of 14" allowing for lots of storage of items.
The security features of the Super Brute Larger Model In-Floor Safe are numerous and include a handle-activated locking mechanism consisting of five 3/4" diameter chrome steel locking bolts. Each of the long throw bolts is drive resistant. The one-piece dead bar prevents the door from being lifted off when the bolts are engaged. The door is a full-size door to the body, which makes it harder to pry by a forcible attack.
A UL-Listed Group II dial combination lock is standard. The ESL5 Illuminated Digital lock is available as an upgrade for an additional cost. A relocking device adds to the security in the event of an attack. Almost forgot! Either lock you choose is protected by our carburized hard plate, making the safe even more secure. The AMSEC Model B3700 In-Floor Safe is "B" rate constructed and has a larger bottom plate which ensures a strong installation when installed in concrete. We have also included internal mounting bolts to aid in the security of the safe. Extra strong 3/8" hinges pins assure long years of use. There is also carpet on the inner floor and the safe includes a steel flush cover plate for easy concealment under the carpet.
Due to the nature of the in-floor safe, Safe and Vault Store recommends professional installation. Our Security Professionals can help with any of these matters, give us a call at 1-800-207-2259.
Yes. Free delivery is included on every safe we sell, anywhere in the lower 48 states. The specific delivery method depends on the safe's weight: small package delivery for under 150 lbs, curbside, or garage delivery for heavier safes. See full shipping details →
Shipping timelines vary by product. Check the availability status at the top of this page for the estimated ship date. Once shipped, transit time typically runs 5–10 business days, depending on your location. You'll receive tracking when the safe leaves the warehouse. Safes under 150 lbs ship via UPS or FedEx Ground, no appointment needed. Safes weighing 150 lbs or more ship via freight (LTL); the freight carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment once the safe reaches your local terminal.
We don't provide inside delivery directly, but we work with third-party installers across the country who do. Here's how it works: call us at 800-207-2259 for a recommendation in your area, and we'll provide the names and phone numbers of installers we've worked with. You contact the installer directly to arrange pricing for delivery and installation. Once you've agreed on a price, place your order with us using the installer's address as the shipping destination. The installer receives the safe, inspects it, and schedules your final delivery appointment. Some installers prefer to pick the safe up directly from the freight terminal. Check the product's exterior dimensions (listed above) against your narrowest passage, interior doorways, stair landings, and tight turns. Most people remove the safe from the pallet before moving it indoors, so the safe's actual dimensions are what matter for doorways. Standard interior doorways (30–32" clear) accommodate most residential safes, but measure before ordering. Call us if you're uncertain. See where to locate your safe →
Electronic locks: yes; it takes about 30 seconds. Instructions are included with your safe. Mechanical dial locks: no, changing a dial combination requires a licensed safe technician. Important: attempting to change a dial combination yourself (or having an unlicensed locksmith do it) voids the lock warranty. A licensed safe tech maintains the warranty. See lock operating instructions →
Call us immediately — while you have 24 hours to report damage, calling right away gets the claim filed faster. Take photos of the damage and packaging before moving anything. For minor cosmetic damage, we typically send touch-up paint plus a partial refund. For significant damage, we send replacement parts or arrange a full replacement. Order Protection (optional at checkout) speeds refund payouts to 48–72 hours vs. 30–60 days through standard freight claims; replacement safes ship on the manufacturer's normal timeline regardless. See receiving your safe →
We offer a 30-day return policy on unused, in-original-condition products. The return freight for a heavy safe is substantial, so we strongly encourage you to call us before ordering if you're unsure about fit or configuration. See full return policy →
