The AMSEC BF6032 safe is a beast! I did months of research before I bought this safe. The 1/2" steel plate door, thicker gauge steel shell and the proven fire protection features sold me in the end. I got the added 4 gauge steel liner for added security and the LED lighting kit. Shipping took a little longer, due to the added steel and the left hand swing, but it was worth it. Inside and out, it is a gorgeous safe. The sturdy, adjustable shelves made it versatile and while I could only fit 6 rifles on the non-shelved side, the door organizer can hold 2 more, as well as a host of pockets and holsters for other small items. This safe is like a piece of fine furniture. I wish I could put out in my living room! "This is my second AMSEC BF6030. I purchased the heavy gauge liner this time as it wasn't available 7 years ago. I like the door organizer that is standard now and the built in outlet is a nice upgrade as well. The cord should be a little longer-perhaps 3 to 5 feet more. This safe is a brute at 1200+ pounds and not easy to move on a concrete floor at all. I like the way that the four bolt down holes are designed on the floor to allow deep penetration of your drill bit." "
Purchased my AMSEC BF6030 in early Oct and finally took delivery. Box had a tip indicator and after pulling the cardboard off there were a couple scuffs, I would recommend you inspect it good before the carrier leaves your premises. Make notes on the BOL. Take some pictures. Once I got past a couple scuffs, I took a good long look at the safe. I consider myself a safe connoisseur. I own two Fort Knox and Browning. An excellent and quality product. The ability to upgrade to a heavier 4 gauge steel (premium upgrade #1) on the sides and inside of the safe was what I was looking for after watching a YouTube video on a 'punch attack' with a pick axe. The extra weight is an added benefit because my first safe (a Sentry product) was physically stolen from my office by the thieves even though it weighed-in at over 350 pounds. The upgraded AMSEC BF6030, at nearly 1300 pounds, bolted into solid, steel-reinforced concrete, should solve that problem. And the warranty on the BF6030 is the best in the industry!"
