The Barska AX12428 Biometric Keypad Security Safe allows you to store and protect your valuables at home while giving you quick and easy access.

The main feature of the Barska AX12428 Biometric Keypad Security Safe is the Biometric Fingerprint Lock. This lock will hold up to 120 fingerprints. This means you can store all of your fingers in the lock, plus other trusted family members and friends if necessary. It will also store 1 PIN code. The lock uses 4 AA batteries which should be changed once a year like you do your smoke detectors. There is an override key (2 keys provided) in case the batteries die or something happens to your lock.

It is highly recommended that you bolt the Barska AX12428 Biometric Keypad Security Safe to a solid surface. There are 3 holes on the bottom to bolt to a concrete or wood floor or 3 holes on the back to bolt to a wall. There are 2 solid steel locking bolts that are designed to prevent pry attacks on the door. A protective floor mat inside the safe keeps your valuables from getting scratched. Barska does include a 1-year limited warranty with each safe purchase.

Small Package Delivery (150 lbs. and Under)

Small package delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. All packages under 150 pounds are delivered to your home or business front door via UPS or FedEx during normal business hours. There is no advance appointment call made. No signature is required.

Changing Your Address

Additional fees may apply if you need to change your address after your order has shipped. Please note that changing the address with FedEx is not guaranteed. You can create a FedEx Delivery Manager account, which allows you to change the shipping method to a FedEx Hold Location (ex: local Walgreens).

Curbside Delivery (Over 150 lbs.)

Curbside delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. Any shipments 151 pounds or larger shipments are delivered curbside via freight companies such as YRC, XPO, USF Reddaway, or other common freight carriers. The safes and vault doors are delivered on a wood pallet, curbside, where your driveway meets the street. The freight company will call to schedule an appointment within an 8-hour window. Freight companies will not deliver to a "dead end" street or Cul De Sac. Please see our Fedex Freight Direct Basic for additional options.
Remote areas require additional fees from the freight company. Please see our Fedex Freight Direct Basic for additional options.
“Limited access” locations will require additional fees from the Freight Company. Please see our Fedex Freight Direct Basic for additional options.

Depending on the indicated lead time on your order, you will receive an email notifying you that your item has shipped with your tracking number.
After your item has shipped and arrived at your local terminal, the freight company will call you to schedule the delivery date.
The freight company will schedule a delivery appointment with you for the day of delivery only.
Freight companies will deliver between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday only.Because Mondays are heavy commercial delivery days, some terminals will avoid scheduling residential deliveries on Mondays. If you require a shorter time window, please see our Fedex Freight Direct Basic delivery options (2-hour window available).
You must be present or have someone inspect and sign for the product. There are no exceptions to this requirement.
If the packaging is damaged even slightly, note the damage on the receipt you receive and sign from the delivery staff. IMPORTANT NOTE: This is the only way to file a damage claim for a refund from the freight company and/or a replacement if your safe or vault door is damaged.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The delivery staff will not take your safe or vault door any further than curbside if this is the service you order. Freight companies will not deliver to your driveway on a dead-end road or Cul de Sac. They will only deliver to County, City, or State roads. They will not deliver to a congested downtown area without parking or a Doorman Condo or Apartment. Garage/Threshold Delivery or White Glove Inside Delivery are available for an extra charge if you need special delivery services. Garage Delivery Requirements:

Please read these requirements before placing your order:

Access to an ‘overhead’ garage door is required and must be over pavement or concrete, no more than a 2% grade.
Excessively steep or long driveways are not included in this service; if this is your case, see Inside Delivery delivery options.
Drivers will not back the truck onto your driveway.
The driver may require help to push the product into your garage.
The driver will not remove the safe from the pallet.

Garage delivery is not guaranteed. It is not always available in all areas and is ultimately at the driver's discretion to complete. If the driver feels unsafe, the freight company will not be able to complete the garage delivery and will leave the safe at your curbside. We will refund you in full for the garage delivery if it cannot be completed. Safes Over 2000 lbs.

Our trucks with liftgates can only handle safes up to 2000 pounds. Safes over 2000 pounds require a forklift or loading dock on site to receive them. If you do not have either of these items, we can recommend a company in your local area that can deliver your safe inside.
