Browning Rawhide Gun Safes with Western Style and Flexible Storage
Browning Rawhide gun safes combine a distinctive Western appearance with practical storage for rifles, shotguns, handguns, and valuables. Available in Saddle Brown and Raw Metal finishes, the RW33, RW49, and RW49T offer different sizes for growing collections, with a faux-suede interior that complements their exterior design.
The Rawhide Series features an 11-gauge steel body and a reinforced formed-steel door. Browning’s Force Deflector locking system helps isolate the lock from the force of pry attempts, while Pry-Stop End Bolts reinforce the boltwork against bending. Steel hardplates and hardened rolling pins add protection against drilling attacks.
Browning rates the Rawhide Series for 110 minutes of fire protection at 1,200°F. Interlocking ThermaBlock insulation and a heat-activated Palusol door seal help limit heat entering the safe during a fire.
Choose the Right Rawhide for Your Collection
The RW33 offers a narrower footprint for smaller rooms. The RW49 adds width for a larger collection, while the RW49T combines that wider layout with additional interior height. Advertised capacities range from 33 to 49 long guns, including storage on the door. Scoped rifles, wide stocks, and other attachments reduce actual capacity, so compare usable interior space and leave room for future purchases.
Browning’s AXIS modular shelving lets you arrange the interior around your firearms and accessories. Door-mounted long gun storage keeps frequently used firearms accessible, while Scope Savers provide space for compatible rifles with optics attached. Pistol storage, accessory pouches, LED lighting, and an interior electrical outlet help keep the rest of your collection organized.
Before ordering, check the safe’s dimensions, handle clearance, delivery route, and floor support. Anchor it according to the manufacturer’s instructions to help prevent tipping and removal.
