Stealth's EHS4 Essential Safe can be used for your home or office. It provides some of the best security features at a great price. If you are looking for a safe to protect your valuables and important papers from fire for under $500, this safe is a great choice.

Designed with both a 14-gauge steel door and a 14 gauge steel body, the Stealth EHS4 Essential Home Safe will do the job of keeping your items and valuables secure. Holding the door in place are 4 solid steel chrome-plated 3/4" locking bolts. Two of them are active and two are deadbolts. This means that it will be difficult to pry the door open on both sides.

The lock on the Stealth EHS4 Essential Home Safe is a UL listed Type 1 high-security Securam Toplit electronic lock. This is one of the more reliable locks sold today and is backed by Stealth's 2-year warranty. The lock is protected by an internal hardplate and relocker which will prevent drill attacks to the door and the lock.

Stealth's EHS4 is fire rated for 30 minutes and was tested at outside temperatures up to 1200 degrees F. There is also an intumescent door seal that will expand to many times its size during a fire to keep heat and smoke out. This means your contents and important papers will be protected in the event of a fire.

Inside the Stealth EHS4 Essential Home Safe is an electrical outlet kit with 3 outlets and 2 USB slots. You can plug in a light strip, dehumidifier, or anything else electronic. You can also plug in your e-reader, tablet, phone, or portable hard drive into the provided USB slots. This means that your electronics are safe and secure inside your safe and can still stay charged.

The outside of the Stealth EHS4 has a chrome drop-down handle and a nice textured black finish. There is four bolt down holes to anchor this safe to a solid surface. This is highly recommended. The hardware is also included to bolt to a concrete floor. Stealth also includes a 2-year warranty on the lock and defects in materials and workmanship.

Safes under 150 lbs ship via UPS or FedEx Ground, no appointment needed. Safes weighing 150 lbs or more ship via freight (LTL); the freight carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment once the safe reaches your local terminal.

Can you deliver it inside my house and bolt it down?

We don't provide inside delivery directly, but we work with third-party installers across the country who do. Here's how it works: call us at 800-207-2259 for a recommendation in your area, and we'll provide the names and phone numbers of installers we've worked with. You contact the installer directly to arrange pricing for delivery and installation. Once you've agreed on a price, place your order with us using the installer's address as the shipping destination. Will this fit through my doorway?

Check the product's exterior dimensions (listed above) against your narrowest passage, interior doorways, stair landings, and tight turns. Most people remove the safe from the pallet before moving it indoors, so the safe's actual dimensions are what matter for doorways. Can I change the combination myself?

Electronic locks: yes; it takes about 30 seconds. Instructions are included with your safe. Mechanical dial locks: no, changing a dial combination requires a licensed safe technician. Important: attempting to change a dial combination yourself (or having an unlicensed locksmith do it) voids the lock warranty. A licensed safe tech maintains the warranty. What if it arrives damaged?

Call us immediately — while you have 24 hours to report damage, calling right away gets the claim filed faster. Take photos of the damage and packaging before moving anything. For minor cosmetic damage, we typically send touch-up paint plus a partial refund. For significant damage, we send replacement parts or arrange a full replacement.
