The body is formed from 12-gauge American-made steel with 1-3/8" thick composite walls, a Double-Steel Door Casement, heat-expanding fire seal, and up to three layers of fire insulation, the same structural integrity that makes the entire Patriot line competitive and well above its price range.
The 4" Single Step door uses 12-gauge outer steel and 14-gauge inner steel, with a 7/16" reinforced door edge, and opens to a full 180 degrees for complete, unobstructed access to the interior. Ten four-way active 1-1/4" locking bolts with Roughneck bolt guides engage on all four sides of the door, and the Diamond-Embedded Armor Plate and American Rebel Auto Relock System protect the lock against drilling and forced-entry attempts. The Sargent & Greenleaf electronic lock is programmable with one master code and up to 5 user codes, EMP-protected, and backed by a 2-year manufacturer's warranty. The PT-30 is UL Residential Security Container-rated, ASME- and ASTM-certified for its 75-minute/1200 degrees F fire rating, and covered by American Rebel's lifetime warranty.
Inside, the plush velour interior holds up to 42 long guns on high-capacity gun racks, with an adjustable top shelf, three additional adjustable shelves, and a deluxe door organizer with three large pockets and four pistol holsters.
