A reverse loading deposit safe is convenient for those that want to collect deposits through a wall with the safe in a locked room. The AMSEC DSR2516 is your answer. With a body thickness of 1/8" solid steel and a 1/2" solid steel door, this will give you extra security protection. There are 3 1" diameter steel locking bolts to prevent pry attacks on the door. Other features on the door include an auto lock bolt detent system, an auxiliary relocking device and a large carburized hardplate to prevent drill attacks.
The lock on the outside of the DSR2516E2 is a multi-user ESL20XL digital electronic lock. This will allow you to program your employees pin codes in the lock. If one leaves or is let go, you can easily change that one pin code without everyone having to remember a new combination. Other features on this lock include a time delay functionally, dual control mode (to require two users to get into the safe) and an armored car override.
The reverse hopper on the AMSEC DSR2516E2 is designed for large package sizes of 4" D x 2.50" W x 9.50" L. The chute is adjustable and is designed for wall thicknesses between 6.88" and 13.88" deep. The chute is protected by two "anti-fish" baffles.
The till portion of the storage can hold up to 4 standard till trays. It has an internal capacity of 1.39 cubic feet. The receiving locker has an inside dimension of 5.88" H x 15.75" W x 13.75" D for your deposits. It is protected by a 1/4" solid steel plate door.

ESLAudit Features:
Yes. Free delivery is included on every safe we sell, anywhere in the lower 48 states. The specific delivery method depends on the safe's weight: small package delivery for under 150 lbs, curbside, or garage delivery for heavier safes. See full shipping details →
Shipping timelines vary by product. Check the availability status at the top of this page for the estimated ship date. Once shipped, transit time typically runs 5–10 business days, depending on your location. You'll receive tracking when the safe leaves the warehouse. Safes under 150 lbs ship via UPS or FedEx Ground, no appointment needed. Safes weighing 150 lbs or more ship via freight (LTL); the freight carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment once the safe reaches your local terminal.
We don't provide inside delivery directly, but we work with third-party installers across the country who do. Here's how it works: call us at 800-207-2259 for a recommendation in your area, and we'll provide the names and phone numbers of installers we've worked with. You contact the installer directly to arrange pricing for delivery and installation. Once you've agreed on a price, place your order with us using the installer's address as the shipping destination. The installer receives the safe, inspects it, and schedules your final delivery appointment. Some installers prefer to pick the safe up directly from the freight terminal. See inside delivery details →
Check the product's exterior dimensions (listed above) against your narrowest passage, interior doorways, stair landings, and tight turns. Most people remove the safe from the pallet before moving it indoors, so the safe's actual dimensions are what matter for doorways. Standard interior doorways (30–32" clear) accommodate most residential safes, but measure before ordering. Call us if you're uncertain. See where to locate your safe →
Electronic locks: yes; it takes about 30 seconds. Instructions are included with your safe. Mechanical dial locks: no, changing a dial combination requires a licensed safe technician. Important: attempting to change a dial combination yourself (or having an unlicensed locksmith do it) voids the lock warranty. A licensed safe tech maintains the warranty. See lock operating instructions →
Call us immediately — while you have 24 hours to report damage, calling right away gets the claim filed faster. Take photos of the damage and packaging before moving anything. For minor cosmetic damage, we typically send touch-up paint plus a partial refund. For significant damage, we send replacement parts or arrange a full replacement. Order Protection (optional at checkout) speeds refund payouts to 48–72 hours vs. 30–60 days through standard freight claims; replacement safes ship on the manufacturer's normal timeline regardless. See receiving your safe →
We offer a 30-day return policy on unused, in-original-condition products. The return freight for a heavy safe is substantial, so we strongly encourage you to call us before ordering if you're unsure about fit or configuration. See full return policy →
Yes. Call us Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm Pacific at 800-207-2259. You have two options: we can take the full order by phone (we pause the call recording before you read your card number, so payment info is never stored), or we can build your order and email you a payable invoice link so you can enter your own payment details securely.
