The Hollon FD-2014K is a B-rated commercial depository safe with a dual-key deposit lock, built for retail, restaurant, and small-business cash-handling workflows where two parties must sign off on cash drops before the safe can be opened. The dual-key setup is the same access control armored car services and bank branches use: one key is held by a manager on site, the other by the pickup guard or armored car crew, and both keys must be turned together to open the main door. That splits access so no single employee can open the safe alone, which is the standard control for reducing internal shrink on higher-volume cash operations.
The FD-2014K ships with one Guard Key and two Manager Keys, so the manager side has a working key plus a backup, and the guard side has a single working key that travels with the armored car crew or shift supervisor. Cash and deposit bags drop through the front-load slot (10¾ inches wide by 4½ inches high), which is sized for standard deposit bags and a large stack of bills, and the anti-fish baffle physically blocks the classic "fishing" attack (a rigid hook or wire pushed up through the slot to grab bills off the top of the pile). Once the deposit falls through, it is inaccessible until both keys are used together.
Under the hood, the FD-2014K is built to the same B-rated construction standard Hollon uses across the depository line: a ½-inch solid steel door, three 1¼-inch solid steel active locking bolts, a drill- and ballistic-resistant hard plate protecting the lock, an internal spring-loaded re-locking device that engages if the lock is punched or drilled, and a heavy-duty hinge-side locking bar that prevents door removal if a thief pries or cuts the hinges. Four pre-drilled anchor holes let you bolt the safe to a concrete floor or a steel base plate under a counter, and anchoring is strongly recommended on a safe this size. At 95 pounds, the FD-2014K is heavy enough to discourage a casual snatch attack but light enough that a determined thief could still walk out with an unanchored unit, so the anchor holes are not optional if the safe holds real cash.
Inside, the FD-2014K provides 1.00 cubic feet of usable space (10.50 by 13.50 by 12.25 inches), which is sized for daily cash drops, small deposit bags, checks, credit-card slips, and the operating float. The exterior measures 20.25 by 14 by 14 inches and fits under most retail counters, in a back-office cabinet, or in a manager's desk footprint.
If you'd prefer a mechanical dial instead of dual-key access, the same safe is available as the FD-2014C. If you'd prefer an electronic keypad, the same safe is available as the FD-2014E. If you'd prefer a top rotary hopper drop instead of a front-load slot (so the operator drops cash in from above, useful when the safe sits under a counter or between two fixtures), the same safe is available as the RH-2014K. If 1 cubic foot is too small for your daily volume, the larger FD-2714K (27 inches tall) is the next size up in the same dual-key family.
If you have questions about the FD-2014K, how the dual-key control works with an armored car pickup schedule, or how to anchor it into a retail or restaurant counter, please call us at 800-207-2259.

Yes. Free delivery is included on every safe we sell, anywhere in the lower 48 states. The specific delivery method depends on the safe's weight: small package delivery for under 150 lbs, curbside, or garage delivery for heavier safes. See full shipping details →
Shipping timelines vary by product. Check the availability status at the top of this page for the estimated ship date. Once shipped, transit time typically runs 5–10 business days, depending on your location. You'll receive tracking when the safe leaves the warehouse. Safes under 150 lbs ship via UPS or FedEx Ground, no appointment needed. Safes weighing 150 lbs or more ship via freight (LTL); the freight carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment once the safe reaches your local terminal.
We don't provide inside delivery directly, but we work with third-party installers across the country who do. Here's how it works: call us at 800-207-2259 for a recommendation in your area, and we'll provide the names and phone numbers of installers we've worked with. You contact the installer directly to arrange pricing for delivery and installation. Once you've agreed on a price, place your order with us using the installer's address as the shipping destination. The installer receives the safe, inspects it, and schedules your final delivery appointment. Some installers prefer to pick the safe up directly from the freight terminal. Check the product's exterior dimensions (listed above) against your narrowest passage, interior doorways, stair landings, and tight turns. Most people remove the safe from the pallet before moving it indoors, so the safe's actual dimensions are what matter for doorways. Standard interior doorways (30–32" clear) accommodate most residential safes, but measure before ordering. Call us if you're uncertain. See where to locate your safe →
Electronic locks: yes; it takes about 30 seconds. Instructions are included with your safe. Mechanical dial locks: no, changing a dial combination requires a licensed safe technician. Important: attempting to change a dial combination yourself (or having an unlicensed locksmith do it) voids the lock warranty. A licensed safe tech maintains the warranty. See lock operating instructions →
Note: Some mechanical pushbutton locks (like Simplex) can be changed by the user without a technician. Check your specific lock's instructions.
Call us immediately — while you have 24 hours to report damage, calling right away gets the claim filed faster. Take photos of the damage and packaging before moving anything. For minor cosmetic damage, we typically send touch-up paint plus a partial refund. For significant damage, we send replacement parts or arrange a full replacement. Order Protection (optional at checkout) speeds refund payouts to 48–72 hours vs. 30–60 days through standard freight claims; replacement safes ship on the manufacturer's normal timeline regardless. See receiving your safe →
We offer a 30-day return policy on unused, in-original-condition products. The return freight for a heavy safe is substantial, so we strongly encourage you to call us before ordering if you're unsure about fit or configuration. See full return policy →
