Hornady 95851 Premium Safe Anchoring Kit

Please make sure the Hornady 95851 Premium Safe Anchor Bolts will fit your safe. They are designed for the Hornady Safes but will work with any safe that has a 3/8" anchor hole.

Because many safes come with anchor holes but no anchor bolts, Hornady is offering the 95851 Premium Safe Anchoring Kit to secure your safe to a solid surface. Or, maybe you need to move your safe to a new location and need new anchor bolts. This is the perfect solution.

The Hornady 95851 Premium Safe Anchoring Kit comes with (4) 3/8" concrete anchor bolts, nuts, and washers. It also comes with a 3/8" carbide concrete drill bit and a 9/16" deep socket. To level your safe to make sure it doesn't tip over, it also comes with (4) polymer leveling shims. A dusting cloth keeps everything nice and clean.

  1. To anchor your safe using the Hornady 95851 Premium Safe Anchoring Kit, place your safe in the desired location and use the included shims to level.
  2. Use the holes in the bottom of the safe to mark your anchor locations.
  3. Use a hammer drill and the included concrete bit to drill each hole at least 3" deep into the concrete floor. Make sure to follow the instructions for your particular hammer drill.
  4. Insert the anchor bolts through the safe floor and into the drilled holes. A hammer may be needed to tape the bolts into the holes.
  5. Tighten the nuts using a 3/8" drive socket wrench and the included socket until the anchors expand tightly into place.
  6. Clean up and the job is done!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is shipping really free?

Yes. Free delivery is included on every safe we sell, anywhere in the lower 48 states. The specific delivery method depends on the safe's weight: small package delivery for under 150 lbs, curbside, or garage delivery for heavier safes. See full shipping details →

How long will this take to arrive?

Shipping timelines vary by product. Check the availability status at the top of this page for the estimated ship date. Once shipped, transit time typically runs 5–10 business days, depending on your location. You'll receive tracking when the safe leaves the warehouse. Safes under 150 lbs ship via UPS or FedEx Ground, no appointment needed. Safes weighing 150 lbs or more ship via freight (LTL); the freight carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment once the safe reaches your local terminal.

Can you deliver it inside my house and bolt it down?

We don't provide inside delivery directly, but we work with third-party installers across the country who do. Here's how it works: call us at 800-207-2259 for a recommendation in your area, and we'll provide the names and phone numbers of installers we've worked with. You contact the installer directly to arrange pricing for delivery and installation. Once you've agreed on a price, place your order with us using the installer's address as the shipping destination. The installer receives the safe, inspects it, and schedules your final delivery appointment. Some installers prefer to pick the safe up directly from the freight terminal. See inside delivery details →

Will this fit through my doorway?

Check the product's exterior dimensions (listed above) against your narrowest passage, interior doorways, stair landings, and tight turns. Most people remove the safe from the pallet before moving it indoors, so the safe's actual dimensions are what matter for doorways. Standard interior doorways (30–32" clear) accommodate most residential safes, but measure before ordering. Call us if you're uncertain. See where to locate your safe →

Can I change the combination myself?

Electronic locks: yes; it takes about 30 seconds. Instructions are included with your safe. Mechanical dial locks: no, changing a dial combination requires a licensed safe technician. Important: attempting to change a dial combination yourself (or having an unlicensed locksmith do it) voids the lock warranty. A licensed safe tech maintains the warranty. See lock operating instructions →

What if it arrives damaged?

Call us immediately — while you have 24 hours to report damage, calling right away gets the claim filed faster. Take photos of the damage and packaging before moving anything. For minor cosmetic damage, we typically send touch-up paint plus a partial refund. For significant damage, we send replacement parts or arrange a full replacement. Order Protection (optional at checkout) speeds refund payouts to 48–72 hours vs. 30–60 days through standard freight claims; replacement safes ship on the manufacturer's normal timeline regardless. See receiving your safe →

What's your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return policy on unused, in-original-condition products. The return freight for a heavy safe is substantial, so we strongly encourage you to call us before ordering if you're unsure about fit or configuration. See full return policy →

Can I place my order by phone?

Yes. Call us Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm Pacific at 800-207-2259. You have two options: we can take the full order by phone (we pause the call recording before you read your card number, so payment info is never stored), or we can build your order and email you a payable invoice link so you can enter your own payment details securely.
