One of the unique products to come out of the safe industry recently is the InvictaSafe Rifle & Shotgun Display Safe. The main reason for this safe's existence is for those owning historical, unique, or antique rifles and shotguns to be able to display them and protect them. Or maybe you want to display your AR-15 and your handguns. Locking them in a traditional gun cabinet will offer protection, but they won't be displayed. Consider the InvictaSafe Rifle & Shotgun Display Safe if you have a firearm you want to display proudly on your wall.

A common question about the InvictaSafe Rifle & Shotgun Display Safe is its security. If you look at the specs, you can tell it's just as secure as most traditional gun cabinets. It uses 12 gauge steel around the front, plus 1/2" bulletproof ballistic glass and the rest of the box is 14 gauge steel.

Quick access is also important, especially in an emergency. All it takes to access your firearm is to put the key in, turn it and lift the ballistic bulletproof glass door. Optional magnets hold your firearm in place, making it look like it is floating in mid-air. The LED light with included remote controller will highlight your firearm inside the display case.

InvictaSafe allows for some customization of the Rifle & Shotgun Display Safe. You can select from either a black or off-white background. Or, you can choose from any color back panel prismatic colors, red velvet panel, or upload a digital image as your background. How does the firearm appear to float inside? There are powerful rare earth magnets wrapped in a leather-like substance that allows for easy movement of the magnets.
The InvictaSafe Handgun Display Safe utilizes a 12v 2 AMP power source to the LED lights that comes with a remote controller. This allows you to turn up and down the brightness level and allows for modulation or a strobe effect at varying speeds.
Local fabricators make each safe in Illinois. It is built with a 1/2" Ballistic Glass cut to InvictaSafe's specifications. The remaining pieces and parts are sourced from a variety of manufacturers. The final assembly takes place in the Aurora, IL, USA facility.
Designed to be mounted to the wall but can be flush mounted depending on the depth of your wall.
Choose from a black or off-white background, red velvet panel, or any color back panel prismatic colors, or upload a digital image for your background. Some examples of custom colors include leather, camo, and even gold.

How long will this take to arrive?

Shipping timelines vary by product. Check the availability status at the top of this page for the estimated ship date. Once shipped, transit time typically runs 5–10 business days, depending on your location. You'll receive tracking when the safe leaves the warehouse. Safes under 150 lbs ship via UPS or FedEx Ground, no appointment needed. Safes weighing 150 lbs or more ship via freight (LTL); the freight carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment once the safe reaches your local terminal.

Can you deliver it inside my house and bolt it down?

We don't provide inside delivery directly, but we work with third-party installers across the country who do. Here's how it works: call us at 800-207-2259 for a recommendation in your area, and we'll provide the names and phone numbers of installers we've worked with. You contact the installer directly to arrange pricing for delivery and installation. Once you've agreed on a price, place your order with us using the installer's address as the shipping destination. The installer receives the safe, inspects it, and schedules your final delivery appointment. Some installers prefer to pick the safe up directly from the freight terminal. Will this fit through my doorway?

Check the product's exterior dimensions (listed above) against your narrowest passage, interior doorways, stair landings, and tight turns. Most people remove the safe from the pallet before moving it indoors, so the safe's actual dimensions are what matter for doorways. Can I change the combination myself?

Electronic locks: yes; it takes about 30 seconds. Instructions are included with your safe. Mechanical dial locks: no, changing a dial combination requires a licensed safe technician. Important: attempting to change a dial combination yourself (or having an unlicensed locksmith do it) voids the lock warranty. A licensed safe tech maintains the warranty. What if it arrives damaged?

Call us immediately — while you have 24 hours to report damage, calling right away gets the claim filed faster. Take photos of the damage and packaging before moving anything. For minor cosmetic damage, we typically send touch-up paint plus a partial refund. For significant damage, we send replacement parts or arrange a full replacement. Order Protection (optional at checkout) speeds refund payouts to 48–72 hours vs. 30–60 days through standard freight claims; replacement safes ship on the manufacturer's normal timeline regardless. What's your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return policy on unused, in-original-condition products. The return freight for a heavy safe is substantial, so we strongly encourage you to call us before ordering if you're unsure about fit or configuration. See full return policy →

Can I place my order by phone?

Yes. Call us Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm Pacific at 800-207-2259. You have two options: we can take the full order by phone (we pause the call recording before you read your card number, so payment info is never stored), or we can build your order and email you a payable invoice link so you can enter your own payment details securely.

Small Package Delivery (150 lbs. and Under)

Small package delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. All packages under 150 pounds are delivered to your home or business front door via UPS or FedEx during normal business hours. There is no advance appointment call made. No signature is required.

Changing Your Address

Additional fees may apply if you need to change your address after your order has shipped. Please note that changing the address with FedEx is not guaranteed. You can create a FedEx Delivery Manager account, which allows you to change the shipping method to a FedEx Hold Location (ex: local Walgreens).

Curbside Delivery (Over 150 lbs.)

Curbside delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. Any shipments 151 pounds or larger shipments are delivered curbside via freight companies such as YRC, XPO, USF Reddaway, or other common freight carriers. The safes and vault doors are delivered on a wood pallet, curbside, where your driveway meets the street. The freight company will call to schedule an appointment within an 8-hour window. Freight companies will not deliver to a "dead end" street or Cul De Sac. Please see our Fedex Freight Direct Basic for additional options.

Freight companies will deliver between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday only.Because Mondays are heavy commercial delivery days, some terminals will avoid scheduling residential deliveries on Mondays. You must be present or have someone inspect and sign for the product. There are no exceptions to this requirement.
If the packaging is damaged even slightly, note the damage on the receipt you receive and sign from the delivery staff. IMPORTANT NOTE: This is the only way to file a damage claim for a refund from the freight company and/or a replacement if your safe or vault door is damaged.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The delivery staff will not take your safe or vault door any further than curbside if this is the service you order. Freight companies will not deliver to your driveway on a dead-end road or Cul de Sac. They will only deliver to County, City, or State roads. They will not deliver to a congested downtown area without parking or a Doorman Condo or Apartment. Garage/Threshold Delivery or White Glove Inside Delivery are available for an extra charge if you need special delivery services. Garage Delivery Requirements:

Please read these requirements before placing your order:

Access to an ‘overhead’ garage door is required and must be over pavement or concrete, no more than a 2% grade.
Excessively steep or long driveways are not included in this service; if this is your case, see Inside Delivery delivery options.
Drivers will not back the truck onto your driveway.
The driver may require help to push the product into your garage.
The driver will not remove the safe from the pallet.

Garage delivery is not guaranteed. It is not always available in all areas and is ultimately at the driver's discretion to complete. If the driver feels unsafe, the freight company will not be able to complete the garage delivery and will leave the safe at your curbside. We will refund you in full for the garage delivery if it cannot be completed. Our trucks with liftgates can only handle safes up to 2000 pounds. Safes over 2000 pounds require a forklift or loading dock on site to receive them. If you do not have either of these items, we can recommend a company in your local area that can deliver your safe inside.
