We have this model in a right hand swing configuration in silver vein with a digital lock available for shipment in 1-2 business days. All other configurations are custom built with a 5-6 week lead time.*

The Ironman 3024 1500 Series Small Personal Gun Safe was designed just like Ironman's larger sized gun safes. Made in the USA in beautiful Idaho, this safe was designed to hold pistols as well as paperwork and other valuables.

The outside of the Ironman 3024 1500 Series Small Personal Gun Safe is made with a solid 10 gauge steel. This steel thickness is far superior to the safes made with composite material but thinner metal. This allows you to have more overall safe volume inside. The hinge side has a solid 3/4" continuous locking bar that prevents pry attacks on the hinge side. Even if someone were to cut the hinges, they would still need to attempt to pry open the door. On the other side are (5) - 1" solid horizontal locking pins that allow for a better defense against pry attacks.

Ironman safes feature an external hinge. The benefit of that is your safe door will swing open a full 180 degrees vs 90 on an internal hinge safe. This means you have full access to your contents. With the external hinges, the door can be removed to allow for easy moving of the Ironman 3024 1500 Series.

The Ironman 3024 1500 Series Small Personal Gun Safe features a heat sensitive expanding fire gasket to seal the door edges and protect from fire and water damage. This safe features a 2 hour fire rating.

Each Ironman 3024 1500 Series Small Personal Gun Safe comes installed with an S&G Mechanical Lock. An LG Lagard Digital Lock is available as an upgrade. Behind each lock is a drill resistant hard plate and lock back plates that are used to prevent the lock from being punched or drilled. These are both the most common methods of attempting to force entry.

Ironman has a unique powder-coat process on the 3024 1500 Series Small Personal Gun Safe. This powder-coat paint is far superior to most paint finishes on competitors' safes. The inside has a felt lined interior, gun rack, and 3 adjustable shelves to help with organization. The felt is eco-friendly and is made with recycling plastic bottles.

How long will this take to arrive?

Shipping timelines vary by product. Check the availability status at the top of this page for the estimated ship date. Once shipped, transit time typically runs 5–10 business days, depending on your location. You'll receive tracking when the safe leaves the warehouse. Safes under 150 lbs ship via UPS or FedEx Ground, no appointment needed. Safes weighing 150 lbs or more ship via freight (LTL); the freight carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment once the safe reaches your local terminal.

Can you deliver it inside my house and bolt it down?

We don't provide inside delivery directly, but we work with third-party installers across the country who do. Here's how it works: call us at 800-207-2259 for a recommendation in your area, and we'll provide the names and phone numbers of installers we've worked with. You contact the installer directly to arrange pricing for delivery and installation. Once you've agreed on a price, place your order with us using the installer's address as the shipping destination. Will this fit through my doorway?

Check the product's exterior dimensions (listed above) against your narrowest passage, interior doorways, stair landings, and tight turns. Most people remove the safe from the pallet before moving it indoors, so the safe's actual dimensions are what matter for doorways. Can I change the combination myself?

Electronic locks: yes; it takes about 30 seconds. Instructions are included with your safe. Mechanical dial locks: no, changing a dial combination requires a licensed safe technician. Important: attempting to change a dial combination yourself (or having an unlicensed locksmith do it) voids the lock warranty. A licensed safe tech maintains the warranty. What if it arrives damaged?

Call us immediately — while you have 24 hours to report damage, calling right away gets the claim filed faster. Take photos of the damage and packaging before moving anything. For minor cosmetic damage, we typically send touch-up paint plus a partial refund. For significant damage, we send replacement parts or arrange a full replacement. Order Protection (optional at checkout) speeds refund payouts to 48–72 hours vs. 30–60 days through standard freight claims; replacement safes ship on the manufacturer's normal timeline regardless.
