This great starter gun safe gives you excellent value for the benefits it offers. The SA24 passed a fire endurance test in an independent laboratory, and was certified at temperatures up to 1700 degrees F for 60 minutes. Most gun safes in this price range only have 20-40 minute fire ratings. It also meets or exceeds the California Department of Justice (CDOJ) specifications for gun safe construction.
The SafeandVaultStore SA24 features two layers of 12 gauge steel back to back in the door (0.2188" thick) and a 12 gauge steel body. Additional security includes (6) active live locking bolts, along with four (4) deadbolts to prevent door removal during a forced entry attempt. The locking mechanism is protected by a heavy duty, drill resistant hard plate and an internal re-locking device provides an additional defense against a break-in. The SA24 Gun Safe also has bolt down holes to securely anchor the safe to the floor. This safe features a Basic Digital Electronic Lock.
Along with the security benefits, this gun safe will blend in seamlessly with any decor. It comes standard in a scratch resistant black powder coat paint finish along with a tri-spoke handle. The inside of the safe is fully upholstered with plush grey carpeting. The carpeting is included on the shelves and walls.
The SafeandVaultStore SA24 Gun Safe will hold up 24 long guns and rifles (without scopes) with the included gun rack package. The shelves are movable up or down depending on your needs. The shelves can be removed to allow more room for your guns. It also comes with (4) gun holsters and (5) ammo/misc. pouches.

Delivery Options
Please read all information on the type of delivery options you have for your order. The delivery of large safes is a very sensitive operation, and we supply this information to ensure you receive the product you ordered in the best condition possible for your delivery circumstance.
Types of Delivery Services (click the links below to skip to each section):
Small Package Delivery (150 lbs. and Under)
Small package delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. All packages less than 150 pounds are delivered to your home or business front door via UPS or FedEX during normal business hours. There is no advance appointment call made. No signature is required.
Curbside Delivery (Over 150 lbs.)
Curbside delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. Any shipments 151 pounds or larger are delivered via freight companies such as YRC, XPO, USF Reddaway or other common freight carriers and delivered curbside. The safes and vault doors are delivered on a wood pallet, curbside, where your driveway meets the street.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The delivery staff will not take your safe or vault door any further than curbside if this is the service you order. Freight companies will not deliver to your driveway on a Dead End road or Cul de Sac. They will only deliver to County, City or State roads. They will not deliver to a congested downtown area with no parking or a Doorman Condo or Apartment. Garage/Threshold Delivery or White Glove Inside Delivery are available for an extra charge if you need special delivery services. Please call 800-207-2259 for other delivery options if any of these cases apply to you.
Garage Delivery (151 to 2000 lbs.)
$75.00 Additional Fee (151 - 600 pounds)

Freight carrier will deliver the product and place in your garage.
Garage delivery is not guaranteed. It is not always available in all areas and is ultimately at the discretion of the driver to complete. If the driver feels it is unsafe, the freight company will not be able to complete the garage delivery and will leave the safe at your curbside. We would refund you in full for the garage delivery if it is not able to be completed. If you want to order garage delivery and are concerned that you might not meet the requirements, please call us at 800-207-2259 so that we can determine the best option for you.
Safes Over 2000 lbs.
Our trucks with liftgates will only handle safes up to 2000 pounds. Safes over 2000 pounds will require a forklift or loading dock on site to receive the safe. If you do not have either of these items, we can recommend a company in your local area who can deliver your safe inside.
Inside Business Delivery - Through the Doorway Only

White Glove Inside Delivery - (151 - 550 lbs) - No Stairs - Ground Floor Only

White Glove Inside Delivery Service:When the product is received at the White Glove Inside Delivery company, a call will be made to arrange for a mutually agreed upon day and four (4) hour window for delivery to your home or business. White Inside Delivery service includes delivery with a liftgate straight truck (24 - 26 feet truck) with driver and crew to perform the white glove inside delivery and/or placement.
White Glove Inside Delivery is not guaranteed. It is not always available in all areas and is ultimately at the discretion of the delivery company to complete. If the delivery agent feels it is unsafe, the white glove inside delivery company will not be able to complete the white glove inside delivery and will leave the safe at your curbside. We would refund you in full for the white glove inside delivery if it is not able to be completed. If you want to order white glove inside delivery and are concerned that you might not meet the requirements, please call us at 800-207-2259 so that we can determine the best option for you.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT LOCK COMBINATIONS: White Glove Inside Delivery agents may check your lock to ensure that it will work before leaving your home and your lock combination will come in an unsealed envelope from the manufacturer (this is standard). If this is not acceptable to you, we recommend you arrange for your own local delivery and installation service.

United StatesThere was confusion initially about our order and we were given the incorrect tracking info. It took a long time (almost va month) to get delivered however the product is really great. We are happy with our purchase.
The safe is well built and functional and has a fire rating of 1 hour at 1700 degrees. Safe and Vault store also has fantastic customer service.
After countless hours of research, I finally came to terms with the fact that there is no great safe for less than $8,000. I only own a few guns, so $8,000 is just too much. I finally settled on this safe because it includes re-lockers and a longer-than-normal thermal rating for the price point. I bought the safe on sale, but, if it hadn't been on sale, I would not have settled for it.In particular, the thin steel lip behind which the active bolts rest along the door opening are indicative of the 'cost efficient' foreign manufacturing. I think that a thief using my tools will spend approximately 2 to 5 minutes breaking into it. I'll take the steps necessary to mitigate these design problems with lag bolts, but these steps can only go so far. All in all, I'm disappointed in the entire safe industry in the U.S. for not providing higher quality, affordable products.In the end, I guess this safe was the least of all evils given the extra features and the sale price. I find it sad that this is the best endorsement I can give.
