Tracker S12 Biometric Security Safe
Want a personal safe that holds a bit more? Then the Tracker Model S12-B2 is what you need. It can hold 2 medium-sized hand guns, lots of papers, jewelry, a wallet, and a couple of gold bars if you have them.
It is a perfect home safe and travels well on RVs too. It can be located in your bedroom, in your closet, behind a painting, in your garage, and it can also travel with you.
The locking system features three different ways of opening it. It has a push button pass code feature that allows for user codes of between 4 to 8 characters. You can even repeat characters to create a unique pass code. The keys beep when you push them, which is a feature that cannot be disabled.
The biometric locking function allows up to 25 fingerprints. You can easily program it to add or delete fingerprints when you want to grant or deny access to your safe.
Then there is the old standby, a key access, and Tracker Safe provides two keys that grant access to your safe.
The push button pad and the biometric locking system are powered by 4 AA batteries that last from 6 to 12 months, depending on use. Replace them with Duracell or Energizer batteries to maintain peak performance. The battery compartment is located inside the safe so that it cannot be tampered with.
The Model S12-B2 safe has a front opening that is non-fire insulated. It is a steel security safe that weighs 31 pounds. The safe door is secured with two ¾_ inch round bolts that interface with a reinforced door frame. The bolts lock into the door frame when the safe closes.
The back of the safe has four 3/8-inch pre-drilled holes so that you can mount the safe to a wall or other hard surface. There are also four 3/8-inch pre-drilled mounting holes in the bottom of the safe. Mounting hardware for this purpose is included.
A carpeted interior softly protects your valuables from scratches. There is one shelf inside in a fixed position that allows for diversity in storing your valuables.
The exterior of the safe has a black textured power coating of paint over the steel body.
External dimensions: H: 11.75 inches x W: 15 inches x D: 11.875 inches. The internal dimensions: H: 11.5 inches x W: 14.5 inches x D: 10.75 inches.
The external volume is 1.21 cubic feet and the internal volume is 1.04 cubic feet.
