Winchester's new for 2023, the Big Daddy XLT2 Gun Safe BD-7246-52-7-E, is an extra tall and wide gun safe. It is designed with 90 minutes of fire protection, a UL RSC Burglar label, and a 70-long gun capacity. This gun safe hits the sweet spot for most gun owners with quite a few long guns plus other valuables that need protection. It has outside dimensions of 72.00" high by 46.00" wide by 27.00" deep. Make sure to add 1.50" for the lock, handle, and hinges.
Winchester had the Big Daddy XLT2 Gun Safe BD-7246-52-7-E tested for a proven 90-minute fire rating with an outside temperature of up to 1400 degrees F. They also included as a standard feature the Palusol Heat expanding door seal which expands to over six times its size when subjected to heat, creating a barrier against heat and smoke. They use UL-rated fireboard protection in the ceiling, walls, and door to achieve this fire rating. The composite door also has a layer of UL-rated fireboard protection behind the accessory door panel. Winchester includes its Lifetime Free Replacement Guarantee in the event of a fire.

Types of Delivery Services (click the links below to skip to each section):
Small Package Delivery (150 lbs. and Under)
Small package delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. All packages under 150 pounds are delivered to your home or business front door via UPS or FedEx during normal business hours. There is no advance appointment call made. No signature is required.
Changing Your Address
Additional fees may apply if you need to change your address after your order has shipped. Please note that changing the address with FedEx is not guaranteed. You can create a FedEx Delivery Manager account, which allows you to change the shipping method to a FedEx Hold Location (ex: local Walgreens).
Curbside Delivery (Over 150 lbs.)
Curbside delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. Any shipments 151 pounds or larger shipments are delivered curbside via freight companies such as YRC, XPO, USF Reddaway, or other common freight carriers. The safes and vault doors are delivered on a wood pallet, curbside, where your driveway meets the street. The freight company will call to schedule an appointment within an 8-hour window. IMPORTANT NOTE: The delivery staff will not take your safe or vault door any further than curbside if this is the service you order. Freight companies will not deliver to your driveway on a dead-end road or Cul de Sac. They will only deliver to County, City, or State roads. They will not deliver to a congested downtown area without parking or a Doorman Condo or Apartment. Garage/Threshold Delivery or White Glove Inside Delivery are available for an extra charge if you need special delivery services. If the driver feels unsafe, the freight company will not be able to complete the garage delivery and will leave the safe at your curbside. We will refund you in full for the garage delivery if it cannot be completed. Safes Over 2000 lbs.
Our trucks with liftgates can only handle safes up to 2000 pounds. Safes over 2000 pounds require a forklift or loading dock on site to receive them. If you do not have either of these items, we can recommend a company in your local area that can deliver your safe inside.
