Winchester's new for 2023, the Big Daddy XLT2 Gun Safe BD-7246-52-7-E, is an extra tall and wide gun safe. It is designed with 90 minutes of fire protection, a UL RSC Burglar label, and a 70-long gun capacity. This gun safe hits the sweet spot for most gun owners with quite a few long guns plus other valuables that need protection. It has outside dimensions of 72.00" high by 46.00" wide by 27.00" deep. Make sure to add 1.50" for the lock, handle, and hinges.
Winchester had the Big Daddy XLT2 Gun Safe BD-7246-52-7-E tested for a proven 90-minute fire rating with an outside temperature of up to 1400 degrees F. They also included as a standard feature the Palusol Heat expanding door seal which expands to over six times its size when subjected to heat, creating a barrier against heat and smoke. They use UL-rated fireboard protection in the ceiling, walls, and door to achieve this fire rating. Small package delivery is a free service offered by SafeandVaultStore.com. All packages less than 150 pounds are delivered to your home or business front door via UPS or FedEx during normal business hours. There is no advance appointment call made. No signature is required.
Curbside Delivery (Over 150 lbs.)
Curbside delivery is a free service offered by SafeandVaultStore.com. Any shipments 151 pounds or larger are delivered via freight companies such as YRC, XPO, USF Reddaway, or other common freight carriers and delivered curbside. The safes and vault doors are delivered on a wood pallet, curbside, where your driveway meets the street. The freight company will call to schedule an appointment within an 8-hour window. Freight companies will not deliver to your driveway on a Dead End road or Cul de Sac. They will only deliver to County, City, or State roads. They will not deliver to a congested downtown area with no parking or a Doorman Condo or Apartment. Garage/Threshold Delivery or White Glove Inside Delivery are available for an extra charge if you need special delivery services.
