The Winchester Ranger 44 Gun Safe is a great quality safe, designed for the ultimate fire and burglar protection. It is extra tall and wide to hold all of your rifles as well as paperwork and valuable items. It will hold up to 44 long guns inside plus room for other items on the top of the safe. There is a door organizer for pistols and other miscellaneous items that you want quick access too. This allows you safe storage of accessories, documents and more in zippered pockets.

Fire protection is important to protect your guns (pistols and rifles), plus valuables and important paperwork. The Winchester Ranger 44 Gun Safe has a proven 60 minute fire rating, tested at outside temperatures up to 1400 degrees F. The Palusol Heat expanding door seal expands to over 6 times it's size when exposed to heat. This creates a barrier against heat and smoke. The fire protection uses UL rated fireboard in the ceiling, walls and the door. The external solid strap hinges allow full fire protection vs internal hinges which have gaps and weak points in the fireboard protection. Inside the composite steel door is an added layer of UL rated fireboard protection behind the door organizer.

The burglar protection on the Winchester Ranger 44 Gun Safe is a step up from most gun safes on the market today. It features a UL listed RSC burglar rating for burglar protection. It also exceeds the CDOJ (California Department of Justice) requirements. The solid steel 12 gauge body (thicker than most gun safes) is formed with robotic continuous welds. There is a drill-resistant, heat-treated steel hard plate and titanium disk. An auxiliary re-locker keeps the active boltwork locked in place when the safe is under attack.

The boltwork on the Winchester Ranger 44 Gun Safe features 16 - 1" solid steel locking bolts. There are 6 dead locking on the hinge side and 10 active bolts. Will this fit through my doorway?

Please read all information on the type of delivery options you have for your order. The delivery of large safes is a very sensitive operation, and we supply this information to ensure you receive the product you ordered in the best condition possible for your delivery circumstance.

What Happens When You Place Your Order (All Products over 150 lbs.

Small Package Delivery (150 lbs. and Under)

Small package delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. All packages under 150 pounds are delivered to your home or business front door via UPS or FedEx during normal business hours. There is no advance appointment call made. No signature is required.

Changing Your Address

Additional fees may apply if you need to change your address after your order has shipped. Please note that changing the address with FedEx is not guaranteed. You can create a FedEx Delivery Manager account, which allows you to change the shipping method to a FedEx Hold Location (ex: local Walgreens).

Curbside Delivery (Over 150 lbs.)

Curbside delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. Any shipments 151 pounds or larger shipments are delivered curbside via freight companies such as YRC, XPO, USF Reddaway, or other common freight carriers. The safes and vault doors are delivered on a wood pallet, curbside, where your driveway meets the street. The freight company will call to schedule an appointment within an 8-hour window. Freight companies will not deliver to a "dead end" street or Cul De Sac. Please see our Fedex Freight Direct Basic for additional options.

Depending on the indicated lead time on your order, you will receive an email notifying you that your item has shipped with your tracking number.
After your item has shipped and arrived at your local terminal, the freight company will call you to schedule the delivery date.
The freight company will schedule a delivery appointment with you for the day of delivery only.
Freight companies will deliver between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday only.Because Mondays are heavy commercial delivery days, some terminals will avoid scheduling residential deliveries on Mondays. If you require a shorter time window, please see our Fedex Freight Direct Basic delivery options (2-hour window available).
You must be present or have someone inspect and sign for the product. There are no exceptions to this requirement.
If the packaging is damaged even slightly, note the damage on the receipt you receive and sign from the delivery staff. IMPORTANT NOTE: This is the only way to file a damage claim for a refund from the freight company and/or a replacement if your safe or vault door is damaged.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The delivery staff will not take your safe or vault door any further than curbside if this is the service you order. Freight companies will not deliver to your driveway on a dead-end road or Cul de Sac. They will only deliver to County, City, or State roads. They will not deliver to a congested downtown area without parking or a Doorman Condo or Apartment. Garage/Threshold Delivery or White Glove Inside Delivery are available for an extra charge if you need special delivery services. Garage Delivery Requirements:

Access to an ‘overhead’ garage door is required and must be over pavement or concrete, no more than a 2% grade.
Excessively steep or long driveways are not included in this service; if this is your case, see Inside Delivery delivery options.
Drivers will not back the truck onto your driveway.
The driver may require help to push the product into your garage.
The driver will not remove the safe from the pallet.

Garage delivery is not guaranteed. It is not always available in all areas and is ultimately at the driver's discretion to complete. If the driver feels unsafe, the freight company will not be able to complete the garage delivery and will leave the safe at your curbside. We will refund you in full for the garage delivery if it cannot be completed. Our trucks with liftgates can only handle safes up to 2000 pounds. Safes over 2000 pounds require a forklift or loading dock on site to receive them. If you do not have either of these items, we can recommend a company in your local area that can deliver your safe inside.
