Looking for an inexpensive gun & rifle safe? The Mesa MGL14E just might be the right fit. This safe can hold up to 14 long guns (7 with scopes) and also have room for some other items such as papers, jewelry and valuables. This gun safe comes in two configurations, universal gun racks for long guns with one top shelf or a (4) all shelf configuration for those that don't have long guns.
This safe is made of all steel (no plastic) and has 12 gauge steel in the body and the door. There are also six (6) 3/4" diameter chrome plated locking bolts to prevent pry attacks on the door. Along with that is heavy-duty solid steel hinges. The lock and handle are protected by an additional layer of 1/8" steel to prevent drill attacks on the door and lock.
The Mesa MGL14E Gun & Rifle Safe also features a 30 minute fire rating, tested at temperatures up to 1200 degrees F on the outside. There is also a heat activated seal around the door. Mesa Safe also performed a factory test where they dropped the safe 2 stories. This means that if your safe falls two stories into a basement during a fire, the door does not pop open introducing your contents to the heat.
There are two lock options on the MGL14E Gun & Rifle Safe. It comes standard with a digital electronic lock which is protected by a drill resistant hard plate & punch-activated relocking system. This lock features two user codes and your personal code can be changed at any time. One benefit on this gun safe is that there is a key override system in case the lock fails or you forget your combination. Never worry again about paying expensive fees to a locksmith to drill your safe open. The other option is a Group II UL listed mechanical dial combination lock. Either lock you choose, the price is the same.

Please read all information on the type of delivery options you have for your order. The delivery of large safes is a very sensitive operation, and we supply this information to ensure you receive the product you ordered in the best condition possible for your delivery circumstance.
Types of Delivery Services (click the links below to skip to each section):
Small Package Delivery (150 lbs. and Under)
Small package delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. All packages under 150 pounds are delivered to your home or business front door via UPS or FedEx during normal business hours. There is no advance appointment call made. No signature is required.
Changing Your Address
Additional fees may apply if you need to change your address after your order has shipped. Please note that changing the address with FedEx is not guaranteed. You can create a FedEx Delivery Manager account, which allows you to change the shipping method to a FedEx Hold Location (ex: local Walgreens).
Curbside Delivery (Over 150 lbs.)
Curbside delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. Any shipments 151 pounds or larger shipments are delivered curbside via freight companies such as YRC, XPO, USF Reddaway, or other common freight carriers. The safes and vault doors are delivered on a wood pallet, curbside, where your driveway meets the street. The freight company will call to schedule an appointment within an 8-hour window. IMPORTANT NOTE: The delivery staff will not take your safe or vault door any further than curbside if this is the service you order. Freight companies will not deliver to your driveway on a dead-end road or Cul de Sac. They will only deliver to County, City, or State roads. They will not deliver to a congested downtown area without parking or a Doorman Condo or Apartment. Garage/Threshold Delivery or White Glove Inside Delivery are available for an extra charge if you need special delivery services. Garage delivery is not guaranteed. It is not always available in all areas and is ultimately at the driver's discretion to complete. If the driver feels unsafe, the freight company will not be able to complete the garage delivery and will leave the safe at your curbside. We will refund you in full for the garage delivery if it cannot be completed. If you want to order garage delivery and are concerned that you might not meet the requirements, please call us at 800-207-2259 so we can determine the best option.
Safes Over 2000 lbs.
Our trucks with liftgates can only handle safes up to 2000 pounds. Safes over 2000 pounds require a forklift or loading dock on site to receive them. If you do not have either of these items, we can recommend a company in your local area that can deliver your safe inside.
