We Go Beyond Being a Typical Online Seller
We trace our roots back to 1902 when our journey began as part of Spokane Safe and Lock, specializing in selling and servicing small safes as well as key and locksmithing services. As time progressed, we integrated into a larger entity named Allied Safe and Vault, Co. in 1948. That transition marked an expansion into bank security: vault doors, safe deposit boxes, night depositories, and custom-made safes.
Later, we grew the business to include manufacturing our own line of safes, bank vault doors, safe deposit boxes, and more. That foray into manufacturing gave us deep insight into how safes are built, which is why we can speak with authority about which models actually deliver on their security and fire-rating claims. Our customers benefit by getting the right product for their specific requirements, not just whatever is in stock.
Today, Safe and Vault Store is headquartered in Spokane Valley, WA, serving as a hub for both online and in-person safe purchases. The network we have built across seven decades lets us offer premier products at competitive prices, with a current catalog of over 2,800 safe and security products from 80 brands.
From the Founder, Jay Hunt
Jay grew up in the family safe and lock business. Before founding Safe and Vault Store, he owned and operated Allied Fire and Security and Allied Safe and Lock in Spokane. In 2007 he saw the rise of e-commerce and launched SafeandVaultStore.com to bring the family's safe expertise to a nationwide market. In 2018 he sold the electronic security division to focus full-time on safes, and the Spokane Valley showroom opened in 2020. The team and the product range have grown around it ever since.

Partnered with NSSF's Project ChildSafe
We partner with Project ChildSafe, NSSF's nationwide firearm safety initiative. At checkout, customers can contribute directly to the program. The goal is straightforward: keep firearms securely stored and out of the hands of people who should not have access, especially children and at-risk individuals.
What the program has accomplished:
