For security, the AMSEC home security safe features a 12-gauge solid steel shell with a 1 1/8" recessed door. The door consists of 1/4" steel with a balance of fire-insulating material. Also featured are five active 1-1/4" bolts in a three-way configuration, along with the ESL10 electronic lock with an illuminated keypad standard. There are also 4 anchor holes that increase the forcible entry protection when used.
The AMSEC AM3020PLUS also maintains a 45-minute fire rating, meaning it will withstand an exterior heat temperature of 1200°F for 45 minutes without the interior temperature exceeding 350°F. Inside, the updated layout enhances organization and visibility, particularly when paired with the new interior LED lighting. While the original came in deep blue, this model stands out with its clean, modern semi-gloss white finish.
