Browning Clamshell Vault Door - In-Swing 83.00" x 42.75" - 2019 Model

The Browning Vault Door is the perfect solution for the person who has "more than a few guns" in their collection. In fact, needing a Browning In-Swing Vault Door in your home is a dream come true for many of us.

The Clamshell Vault Door allows you to build a Browning level of security into a special room in your home or office. If your vault is designed to protect people as well, the in-ward swinging door is a must. In the event of physical debris blocking your door in the aftermath of a tornado or other natural disaster, you'll be glad that you can get out after your vault has provided its protection to you and those you hold dear.

Browning Clamshell Vault Doors don't try to disguise the fact that a highly secure area is behind them. They are simply highly secure. Period! A properly built vault room allows you the greatest amount of latitude and creativity in the way your guns are displayed. For those of us with collections of unique and rare guns it gives the ability to show or display the guns without moving them in and out of a conventional safe, risking dings and scratches. A vault room using a Browning Vault Door also adds greater versatility allowing safe and secure storage of expensive gear, documents, heirlooms and more.

Uni-Force Locking System

What makes the Browning Vault Door ultra-secure is the Uni-Force Lock System that it uses. It utilizes robust cam locks and a huge, multiple diversion bar system to keep the bolt or handle pressure from reaching the lock. This means that no matter what intruders do, they will not be able to open the vault door unless they know the right combination.

The Advantage of Built-in Vaults

Having a built-in vault inside your home for gun storage brings several benefits for you. One of these benefits is that it is bigger and it can store more guns. In fact, you can choose how big your vault will be, which is great if you are collecting guns and the number of the guns you own is growing. Another advantage is that it is easy to open if you know the combination, but it would be impossible for others to open without your authorization. Therefore, if you need a gun, especially during an emergency, you can easily take one out.

Another advantage of having a gun vault is that it is easy to show your guns to your friends. Unlike a safe, you don't have to remove the guns from the vault to display them. Just open the Browning Vault Door and your friends will be able to admire your collection. You don't need to take them out, which is great if you have rare and highly prized armaments that you like to show-off to other gun enthusiasts, but would rather keep them safe on display.

When it comes to storing many guns, having a built-in vault in your home for gun storage is a good idea. The best way to keep your collection secure is with a Browning Vault Door.

      Delivery Options

Please read all information on the type of delivery options you have for your order.  The delivery of large safes is a very sensitive operation, and we supply this information to ensure you receive the product you ordered in the best condition possible for your delivery circumstance.

Types of Delivery Services (click the links below to skip to each section):

Small Package Delivery (150 lbs. and Under)

Small package delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. All packages less than 150 pounds are delivered to your home or business front door via UPS or FedEX during normal business hours. There is no advance appointment call made.

      Curbside Delivery (Over 150 lbs.)

Curbside delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. Any shipments 151 pounds or larger are delivered via freight companies such as YRC, XPO, USF Reddaway or other common freight carriers and delivered curbside. The safes and vault doors are delivered on a wood pallet, curbside, where your driveway meets the street.

      • Remote areas require additional fees from the freight company. Please call 800-207-2259 to confirm your area is not remote or obtain a custom quote.
      • “Limited access” locations will require addition fees from the Freight Company. Please call 800-207-2259 for a quote.
      • Some zip codes, including ferry points are considered beyond service points from the servicing center and may result in additional charges. Please call us at 800-207-2259 if you are unsure if you will be in a service area for a custom quote.

      What are “limited access” locations?

Islands, Camps, Carnivals & Fairs, Chautauqua's, Churches, Colleges & Universities
Construction Sites, Individual/Mini Storage Units, Mine Sites, Mosques
Prisons, Schools, Synagogues, Military Bases, Temples

What Happens When You Place Your Order (Products over 150 lbs.)

      1. Depending on the indicated lead time on your order, you will receive an email notifying you that your item has shipped with your tracking number.
      2. After your item has shipped and it arrives at your local terminal, you will receive a telephone call from the freight company to schedule the delivery date.
      3. The freight company will schedule a delivery appointment with you for the day of delivery only. NOTE: They will not give a time window and delivery times are not guaranteed.
      4. Freight companies will deliver between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday only.  Because Mondays are heavy commercial delivery days, some terminals will avoid scheduling residential deliveries on Mondays.
      5. You must be present or have someone there to inspect and sign for the product. There are no exceptions to this requirement.
      6. If there is even the slightest damage on the packaging, note the damage on the receipt you receive and sign from the delivery staff. IMPORTANT NOTE: This is the only way we can file a damage claim for a refund from the freight company and/or a replacement if your safe or vault door is damaged.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The delivery staff will not take your safe or vault door any further than curbside if this is the service you order. Freight companies will not deliver to your driveway on a Dead End road or Cul de Sac. They will only deliver to County, City or State roads. They will not deliver to a congested downtown area with no parking or a Doorman Condo or Apartment. Garage/Threshold Delivery or Inside Delivery are available for an extra charge if you need special delivery services. Please call 800-207-2259 for other delivery options if any of these cases apply to you.

Garage Delivery (151 to 2000 lbs.)

        $200.00 Additional Fee (601 - 2000 pounds)

        Select this option at checkout.

Freight carrier will deliver the product and place in your garage.

Please read these requirements before placing your order:

        • Access to an ‘overhead’ garage door is required and must be over pavement or concrete, no more than a 2% grade.
        • Excessively steep or long driveways are not included in this service, see Inside Delivery delivery options if this is your case.

        • Driver will not remove safe from pallet.

Garage delivery is not guaranteed. It is not always available in all areas and is ultimately at the discretion of the driver to complete. If the driver feels it is unsafe, the freight company will not be able to complete the garage delivery and will leave the safe at your curbside. We would refund you in full for the garage delivery if it is not able to be completed. If you want to order garage delivery and are concerned that you might not meet the requirements, please call us at 800-207-2259 so that we can determine the best option for you.

          Safes Over 2000 lbs.

Our trucks with liftgates will only handle safes up to 2000 pounds. Safes over 2000 pounds will require a forklift or loading dock on site to receive the safe. If you do not have either of these items, we can recommend a company in your local area who can deliver your safe inside.

          Inside Delivery (151-525 Pounds)

Inside Delivery is available from Safe & Vault Store on safes that weigh 151-525 pounds. To order inside delivery, select the proper inside delivery option under shipping options at checkout. Please read what is included in our inside delivery service.

When the product is received at the Final Mile provider, a call will be made to you to arrange a mutually agreed upon day and a four (4) hour window for delivery to your home or business. 3. Charge per safe applies to shipments received by the Final Mile provider and delivery to locations within 150 miles of the provider. Delivery will be mutually agreed upon delivery date.
          4. Shipments traveling more than 150 miles from the Final Mile provider will be subject to a custom quote.
          5. Charge per safe includes insurance coverage.
          6. Delivery assumes normal access for delivery truck within 75' of delivery site. Steep driveways, gravel, and uneven terrain may prevent practical delivery. Outside steps must be able to withstand weight of product.

If you have stairs inside your home or the safe weighs more than 525 pounds, we can recommend a professional installer or mover in your area. Please call us at 800-207-2259 to get a custom inside delivery quote for your area. Please note that it may take 24-48 hours to get an inside delivery quote back from our agent.

Our delivery partners are licensed, bonded and insured.

            • Schedule home or business delivery appointments at your convenience.
            • Complete the job to your specifications as directed on the delivery form.
            • Treat your home or business as we would our own.

Inside Delivery is not guaranteed. It is not always available in all areas and is ultimately at the discretion of the delivery company to complete. If the delivery agent feels it is unsafe, the inside delivery company will not be able to complete the inside delivery and will leave the safe at your curbside.
