Hollon RH-2014K Rotary Hopper Depository Safe with Dual Key Lock

$ 592.00
Hollon RH-2014K Rotary Hopper Depository Safe with Dual Key Lock

The Hollon RH-2014K is a B-rated commercial depository safe with a top-mounted rotary hopper drop and a UL Listed dual-key deposit lock, built for retail, restaurant, dispensary, and small-business cash-handling workflows where two parties must sign off on cash drops before the safe can be opened. Staff open the top rotary hopper, place a deposit bag or cash inside the drum, and rotate the handle. The drum spins the contents into the sealed main compartment below and locks the mechanism so nothing can be fished back out through the hopper. Once the cash is in, it stays in until both keys are used together to open the main door.

The top-drop rotary hopper design is built for installations where staff drop cash from a standing position directly above the safe. Typical setups are safes mounted under a counter or in a drop cabinet with a hole cut in the counter surface so cash falls through the counter into the hopper, or safes sitting at floor or desk level in a back office where staff drop deposits from above. Bars, quick-service restaurants, gas stations, and any register where the cashier stands over a permanent drop point are the most common applications. The rotating drum physically prevents the fishing attack that anti-fish baffles are designed to defeat on front-load slots: once the handle is turned, the drum seals the hopper against any attempt to pull the contents back out.

The RH-2014K ships with a UL Listed dual-key deposit lock. The dual-key setup is the same access control armored car services and bank branches use: one key is held by a manager on site, the other by the pickup guard or armored car crew, and both keys must be turned together to open the main door. That splits access so no single employee can open the safe alone, which is the standard control for reducing internal shrink on higher-volume cash operations.

Under the hood, the RH-2014K is built to the same B-rated construction standard Hollon uses across the depository line: a ½-inch solid steel door, three 1¼-inch solid steel active locking bolts, a heavy-duty dead bar that prevents door removal if a thief pries or cuts the hinges, and four pre-drilled anchor holes so you can bolt the safe to a concrete floor or a steel base plate under a counter. At 93 pounds, the RH-2014K is heavy enough to discourage a casual snatch attack but light enough that a determined thief could still walk out with an unanchored unit, so the anchor holes are not optional if the safe holds real cash.

Inside, the RH-2014K provides 1.15 cubic feet of usable space (12.75 by 13.75 by 11.30 inches), slightly more capacity than the FD-2014 front-load line, and is sized for daily cash drops, deposit bags, checks, credit-card slips, and the operating float. The exterior is a compact 20 by 14 by 14 inches, which fits under most retail counters, in a back-office cabinet, or in a manager's desk footprint.

If you'd prefer a mechanical dial instead of a dual-key lock, the same rotary hopper safe is available as the RH-2014C. If you'd prefer an electronic keypad, the same rotary hopper safe is available as the RH-2014E. If you'd prefer a front-load deposit slot with an anti-fish baffle instead of a top rotary drop, the same footprint is available with a dual-key lock as the FD-2014K.

If you have questions about the RH-2014K, how the dual-key control works with an armored car pickup schedule, or how to anchor it into a retail or restaurant counter, please call us at 800-207-2259.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is shipping really free?

Yes. Free delivery is included on every safe we sell, anywhere in the lower 48 states. The specific delivery method depends on the safe's weight: small package delivery for under 150 lbs, curbside, or garage delivery for heavier safes. See full shipping details →

How long will this take to arrive?

Shipping timelines vary by product. Check the availability status at the top of this page for the estimated ship date. Once shipped, transit time typically runs 5–10 business days, depending on your location. You'll receive tracking when the safe leaves the warehouse. Safes under 150 lbs ship via UPS or FedEx Ground, no appointment needed. Safes weighing 150 lbs or more ship via freight (LTL); the freight carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment once the safe reaches your local terminal.

Can you deliver it inside my house and bolt it down?

We don't provide inside delivery directly, but we work with third-party installers across the country who do. Here's how it works: call us at 800-207-2259 for a recommendation in your area, and we'll provide the names and phone numbers of installers we've worked with. You contact the installer directly to arrange pricing for delivery and installation. Once you've agreed on a price, place your order with us using the installer's address as the shipping destination. The installer receives the safe, inspects it, and schedules your final delivery appointment. Some installers prefer to pick the safe up directly from the freight terminal. See inside delivery details →

Will this fit through my doorway?

Check the product's exterior dimensions (listed above) against your narrowest passage, interior doorways, stair landings, and tight turns. Most people remove the safe from the pallet before moving it indoors, so the safe's actual dimensions are what matter for doorways. Standard interior doorways (30–32" clear) accommodate most residential safes, but measure before ordering. Call us if you're uncertain. See where to locate your safe →

Can I change the combination myself?

Electronic locks: yes; it takes about 30 seconds. Instructions are included with your safe. Mechanical dial locks: no, changing a dial combination requires a licensed safe technician. Important: attempting to change a dial combination yourself (or having an unlicensed locksmith do it) voids the lock warranty. A licensed safe tech maintains the warranty. See lock operating instructions →

Note: Some mechanical pushbutton locks (like Simplex) can be changed by the user without a technician. Check your specific lock's instructions.

What if it arrives damaged?

Call us immediately — while you have 24 hours to report damage, calling right away gets the claim filed faster. Take photos of the damage and packaging before moving anything. For minor cosmetic damage, we typically send touch-up paint plus a partial refund. For significant damage, we send replacement parts or arrange a full replacement. Order Protection (optional at checkout) speeds refund payouts to 48–72 hours vs. 30–60 days through standard freight claims; replacement safes ship on the manufacturer's normal timeline regardless. See receiving your safe →

What's your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return policy on unused, in-original-condition products. The return freight for a heavy safe is substantial, so we strongly encourage you to call us before ordering if you're unsure about fit or configuration. See full return policy →

Can I place my order by phone?

Yes. Call us Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm Pacific at 800-207-2259. You have two options: we can take the full order by phone (we pause the call recording before you read your card number, so payment info is never stored), or we can build your order and email you a payable invoice link so you can enter your own payment details securely.
