The Liberty Safe Cover for 20-25 size safes is a fitted fabric cover that conceals your gun safe, protects the exterior finish from dust and debris, and fits over the handle, keypad, and outlet kit without snagging. Designed for Liberty's 20-25 gun capacity safes (fits a safe up to roughly 60 inches tall, 30.5 inches wide, and 25.5 inches deep based on the safe. If your safe measures within the envelope, the cover will fit.
The cover is made from a lightweight, breathable fabric that will not trap moisture against the safe body, which matters for safes stored in finished basements, garages, or closets where air circulation is limited and condensation on steel can lead to surface rust. Two full-length zippers run down the front of the cover, one on each side of the front panel, with fabric-backed zipper teeth that will not scratch the safe's painted or powder-coated finish. Open both zippers to roll the front panel up (there are integrated loops to tie it off out of the way), or open just one zipper and swing the panel aside, whichever opening workflow fits the installation. A mesh ventilation strip runs around the top perimeter of the cover to vent air out the top and prevent condensation from building up between the cover and the safe body.
Installation is straightforward: remove the cover from the shipping bag, drop it over the top of the safe with the zippered front panel facing you, and smooth down the sides. The cover is cut generously enough to flex around a mounted handle, electronic keypad, and the outlet kit that adds up to 3.5 inches of depth beyond the safe body footprint, so the dimensional envelope above refers to the safe body only; you do not need to subtract handle depth from your measurement. For safes close to the maximum envelope, a second person makes the install faster.
The cover is specified for indoor use. Garage installations are fine as long as the safe is out of direct sunlight; prolonged UV exposure will fade and discolor the fabric over time. The cover is not weatherproof and should not be used on safes stored outdoors or on covered porches exposed to rain blown in from the side.
