The Hollon FDD-3020EE is the dual-electronic-lock version of Hollon's double-door, B-rated commercial depository safe, built around the till-and-deposit separation workflow used by larger retail, restaurant, bar, dispensary, and small-business cash operations at the end of the shift. Two independent compartments, each behind its own SecuRam electronic lock, split the safe's interior so staff drops cash deposits through the top-compartment slot during the shift (only the manager has that top-compartment code), and the bottom compartment holds the cash tills (empty register drawers) opened separately by the opening shift the next morning. Separating the two functions behind two different locks means till retrieval and deposit retrieval are controlled by different people on different schedules, which is the standard dual-control arrangement for operations that want to split access responsibilities at the lock itself.
Each compartment ships with its own UL Listed Type 1 SecuRam Basic II electronic lock, programmable for up to two users per lock, so a manager and an assistant manager can each hold a code to the deposit compartment without sharing one. UL Type 1 is the UL 768 classification for commercial electronic safe locks and sets minimum requirements for pick resistance, manipulation resistance, and endurance. The keypad lets authorized users open each compartment with a code in a few seconds rather than spinning a dial, which matters when the safe is opened multiple times per shift for armored car pickups, bank deposits, or end-of-shift close-outs. Staff can change codes in the field as they rotate, so a departing manager doesn't walk out knowing the current combination.
Under the hood, the FDD-3020EE is built to Hollon's B-rated commercial depository standard: a ½-inch solid steel door with 1¼-inch solid steel active locking bolts on each door, a drill- and ballistic-resistant hard plate that protects both lock bodies and both re-lockers against rotary drill and ballistic (impact or blast) attacks, and an internal spring-loaded re-locking device on each compartment that engages if the primary lock is punched or drilled out. A heavy-duty dead bar prevents door removal during a forced entry attempt, and four pre-drilled anchor holes let you bolt the safe to a concrete floor or steel base plate. At 200 pounds, the FDD-3020EE is movable by two people during setup, so use the anchor holes and bolt it down once it's in position.
An anti-fish baffle on the top-compartment deposit slot prevents the fishing attack that otherwise defeats basic deposit slots. Staff drops cash, checks, or deposit bags through the slot, and the contents fall through into the sealed top compartment, inaccessible from the slot once the deposit is in.
Inside, each compartment provides 1.60 cubic feet of usable space (8.25 by 19.75 by 17 inches), for a combined 3.21 cubic feet across both compartments. The top compartment holds a shift's worth of deposit bags, cash drops, or checks; the bottom holds cash tills, change drawers, and backup float. The exterior is 30 by 20 by 20 inches, compact enough to fit under most back-office counters or against a wall in a manager's office.
If you prefer dial locks on both compartments with no batteries or electronic components, the same chassis is available as the FDD-3020CC. If you'd prefer an electronic keypad on one compartment and a key lock on the other (common for armored-car pickup schedules where the guard carries a key to one compartment), the FDD-3020EK is that configuration. If you'd prefer a dial on top and a key on the bottom, the FDD-3020CK covers that pattern. If you need a single-compartment safe with a removable shelf instead of a dual-door arrangement, the FD-3020E is the single-door electronic equivalent at a lower price. For more interior than the 3.21 cubic feet the 3020 chassis provides, the FDD-4020EE is the next size up in the double-door electronic family.
If you have questions about the FDD-3020EE, how the dual-compartment workflow fits an armored-car pickup schedule or an end-of-shift drawer close-out, or how to configure the two SecuRam locks for separate user groups, please call us at 800-207-2259.

Yes. Free delivery is included on every safe we sell, anywhere in the lower 48 states. The specific delivery method depends on the safe's weight: small package delivery for under 150 lbs, curbside, or garage delivery for heavier safes. See full shipping details →
Shipping timelines vary by product. Check the availability status at the top of this page for the estimated ship date. Once shipped, transit time typically runs 5–10 business days, depending on your location. You'll receive tracking when the safe leaves the warehouse. Safes under 150 lbs ship via UPS or FedEx Ground, no appointment needed. Safes weighing 150 lbs or more ship via freight (LTL); the freight carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment once the safe reaches your local terminal.
We don't provide inside delivery directly, but we work with third-party installers across the country who do. Here's how it works: call us at 800-207-2259 for a recommendation in your area, and we'll provide the names and phone numbers of installers we've worked with. You contact the installer directly to arrange pricing for delivery and installation. Once you've agreed on a price, place your order with us using the installer's address as the shipping destination. The installer receives the safe, inspects it, and schedules your final delivery appointment. Some installers prefer to pick the safe up directly from the freight terminal. Check the product's exterior dimensions (listed above) against your narrowest passage, interior doorways, stair landings, and tight turns. Most people remove the safe from the pallet before moving it indoors, so the safe's actual dimensions are what matter for doorways. Standard interior doorways (30–32" clear) accommodate most residential safes, but measure before ordering. Call us if you're uncertain. See where to locate your safe →
Electronic locks: yes; it takes about 30 seconds. Instructions are included with your safe. Mechanical dial locks: no, changing a dial combination requires a licensed safe technician. Important: attempting to change a dial combination yourself (or having an unlicensed locksmith do it) voids the lock warranty. A licensed safe tech maintains the warranty. See lock operating instructions →
Note: Some mechanical pushbutton locks (like Simplex) can be changed by the user without a technician. Check your specific lock's instructions.
Call us immediately — while you have 24 hours to report damage, calling right away gets the claim filed faster. Take photos of the damage and packaging before moving anything. For minor cosmetic damage, we typically send touch-up paint plus a partial refund. For significant damage, we send replacement parts or arrange a full replacement. Order Protection (optional at checkout) speeds refund payouts to 48–72 hours vs. 30–60 days through standard freight claims; replacement safes ship on the manufacturer's normal timeline regardless. See receiving your safe →
We offer a 30-day return policy on unused, in-original-condition products. The return freight for a heavy safe is substantial, so we strongly encourage you to call us before ordering if you're unsure about fit or configuration. See full return policy →
Yes. Call us Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm Pacific at 800-207-2259. You have two options: we can take the full order by phone (we pause the call recording before you read your card number, so payment info is never stored), or we can build your order and email you a payable invoice link so you can enter your own payment details securely.
