Made right here in the USA, Perma-Vault introduces the PV-1217-E, a rotary style depository safe that will safely store cash and checks for interim cash deposits. Perfect for businesses, this safe is manufactured with high grade steel and comes with a Sargent and Greenleaf Digital Electronic Lock. The PV-1217-E is tamper proof with no weak weld spots on the safe to provide additional security. The top of the safe houses the rotary hopper. The rotary hopper is built into the safe and cannot be removed or tampered with in any way. It contains an anti-fishing baffle which prevents thieves from using tools to fish cash or deposits back out of the safe. We recommend that you mount the safe to a solid structure using the four pre-drilled holes so it cannot be stolen. The holes are inside of the safe and do not weaken the safe in any way. Delivery Options

Please read all information on the type of delivery options you have for your order.  The delivery of large safes is a very sensitive operation, and we supply this information to ensure you receive the product you ordered in the best condition possible for your delivery circumstance.

Types of Delivery Services (click the links below to skip to each section):


Small Package Delivery (150 lbs. and Under)

Small package delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. All packages less than 150 pounds are delivered to your home or business front door via UPS or FedEX during normal business hours. There is no advance appointment call made.


Curbside Delivery (Over 150 lbs.)

Curbside delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. Any shipments 151 pounds or larger are delivered via freight companies such as YRC, XPO, USF Reddaway or other common freight carriers and delivered curbside. The safes and vault doors are delivered on a wood pallet, curbside, where your driveway meets the street. 

  • Remote areas require additional fees from the freight company. Please call 800-207-2259 to confirm your area is not remote or obtain a custom quote.
  • “Limited access” locations will require addition fees from the Freight Company. Please call 800-207-2259 for a quote.
  • Some zip codes, including ferry points are considered beyond service points from the servicing center and may result in additional charges. Please call us at 800-207-2259 if you are unsure if you will be in a service area for a custom quote. 

What are “limited access” locations?

Prisons, Schools, Synagogues, Military Bases, Temples

What Happens When You Place Your Order (Products over 150 lbs.)

  1. Depending on the indicated lead time on your order, you will receive an email notifying you that your item has shipped with your tracking number.
  2. After your item has shipped and it arrives at your local terminal, you will receive a telephone call from the freight company to schedule the delivery date. 
  3. The freight company will schedule a delivery appointment with you for the day of delivery only. NOTE: They will not give a time window and delivery times are not guaranteed. 
  4. Freight companies will deliver between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday only.  Because Mondays are heavy commercial delivery days, some terminals will avoid scheduling residential deliveries on Mondays.
  5. You must be present or have someone there to inspect and sign for the product. There are no exceptions to this requirement.
  6. If there is even the slightest damage on the packaging, note the damage on the receipt you receive and sign from the delivery staff. IMPORTANT NOTE: This is the only way we can file a damage claim for a refund from the freight company and/or a replacement if your safe or vault door is damaged.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: The delivery staff will not take your safe or vault door any further than curbside if this is the service you order. Freight companies will not deliver to your driveway on a Dead End road or Cul de Sac. They will only deliver to County, City or State roads. They will not deliver to a congested downtown area with no parking or a Doorman Condo or Apartment. Garage/Threshold Delivery or Inside Delivery are available for an extra charge if you need special delivery services. Please call 800-207-2259 for other delivery options if any of these cases apply to you.


    Garage Delivery (151 to 2000 lbs.)

    $75.00 Additional Fee (151 - 600 pounds)
    $200.00 Additional Fee (601 - 2000 pounds)

    Freight carrier will deliver the product and place in your garage.

    Please read these requirements before placing your order:

    • Access to an ‘overhead’ garage door is required and must be over pavement or concrete, no more than a 2% grade.
    • Excessively steep or long driveways are not included in this service, see Inside Delivery delivery options if this is your case.
    • Roads with Excessive turns and no turn around area are not included in this service, see Inside Delivery delivery options if this is your case.
    • Drivers will not back the truck on to your driveway.
    • The driver may require help to push product into your garage.
    • Driver will not remove safe from pallet.

    Garage delivery is not guaranteed. It is not always available in all areas and is ultimately at the discretion of the driver to complete. If the driver feels it is unsafe, the freight company will not be able to complete the garage delivery and will leave the safe at your curbside. We would refund you in full for the garage delivery if it is not able to be completed. If you want to order garage delivery and are concerned that you might not meet the requirements, please call us at 800-207-2259 so that we can determine the best option for you.


      Safes Over 2000 lbs.

      Our trucks with liftgates will only handle safes up to 2000 pounds. Safes over 2000 pounds will require a forklift or loading dock on site to receive the safe. If you do not have either of these items, we can recommend a company in your local area who can deliver your safe inside.


      Inside Delivery - All Weights

      Safe & Vault Store has inside delivery options available depending on the weight of the safe, if there any stairs and if you require bolting the safe down. Please call us at 800-207-2259 ext 1 and we can help you figure out what the best inside delivery option is best for you.
