Sun Welding H-48 Heirloom Series Home Gun Safe
The Sun Welding H-48 Home Safe is one of the long gun and rifle safes in the market today that have a lifetime warranty and is made in the U.S.A. It also exceeds the California Department of Justice specifications for burglary.
The door features 3/16" of solid steel. Not to mention the six one-inch in diameter steel locking bolts that prevent anyone from attempting to pry open the door. The heavy duty hinges allow the door to open a full 180 degrees. Two relockers are standard on the Sun Welding H-48 Gun Safe. These prevent any tampering of the lock and hammering or drilling on the door of the safe. A heat activated Palusol door seal is also available as a standard feature.
The interior inside the Sun Welding H-48 Home Long Gun & Rifle Safe is a fully adjustable velour interior. The fire rating that comes standard on this safe is 30 minutes tested at 1200 degrees. Upgrades are available for 60 minutes and 90 minutes. Two pre-drilled mounting holes allow for the safe to be anchored into either concrete or wood.
The exterior features of the Sun Welding H-48 Home Gun Safe include a solid steel 12 gauge body (1/9" thick). A single handle comes in either gold or black. Make sure to add 1 1/2" to the depth of the safe. A Sargent & Greenleaf Group II combination lock with a day key comes standard. Electronic digital locks are available as an upgrade for an extra charge. Durable polyurethane paint comes in a variety of colors and the home safe logos come in gold, chrome, or black finishes.

Please read all information on the type of delivery options you have for your order. The delivery of large safes is a very sensitive operation, and we supply this information to ensure you receive the product you ordered in the best condition possible for your delivery circumstance.
Types of Delivery Services (click the links below to skip to each section):
Small Package Delivery (150 lbs. and Under)
Small package delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. All packages under 150 pounds are delivered to your home or business front door via UPS or FedEx during normal business hours. There is no advance appointment call made. No signature is required.
Changing Your Address
Additional fees may apply if you need to change your address after your order has shipped. Please note that changing the address with FedEx is not guaranteed. You can create a FedEx Delivery Manager account, which allows you to change the shipping method to a FedEx Hold Location (ex: local Walgreens).
Curbside Delivery (Over 150 lbs.)
Curbside delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. Any shipments 151 pounds or larger shipments are delivered curbside via freight companies such as YRC, XPO, USF Reddaway, or other common freight carriers. The safes and vault doors are delivered on a wood pallet, curbside, where your driveway meets the street. The freight company will call to schedule an appointment within an 8-hour window. IMPORTANT NOTE: The delivery staff will not take your safe or vault door any further than curbside if this is the service you order. Freight companies will not deliver to your driveway on a dead-end road or Cul de Sac. They will only deliver to County, City, or State roads. They will not deliver to a congested downtown area without parking or a Doorman Condo or Apartment. Garage/Threshold Delivery or White Glove Inside Delivery are available for an extra charge if you need special delivery services. Garage delivery is not guaranteed. It is not always available in all areas and is ultimately at the driver's discretion to complete. If the driver feels unsafe, the freight company will not be able to complete the garage delivery and will leave the safe at your curbside. We will refund you in full for the garage delivery if it cannot be completed. If you want to order garage delivery and are concerned that you might not meet the requirements, please call us at 800-207-2259 so we can determine the best option.
Safes Over 2000 lbs.
Our trucks with liftgates can only handle safes up to 2000 pounds. Safes over 2000 pounds require a forklift or loading dock on site to receive them. If you do not have either of these items, we can recommend a company in your local area that can deliver your safe inside.
